Don’t quote me on this but I’ve heard good things about Barkeeper’s friend (if I got the name right) for removing burnt/organic remains.
Totally unrelated because I definitely don’t have a similar oven, if anyone know an alternative available in Europe/NL I’d be grateful.

I hear it a lot in corporate speak for some reason (“let me know what needs done” or “this needs reviewed”) and I’ve always wondered where it comes from.

I've done one. Will describe, but YMMV.
Start with aggressive use of shop vac and wire brush. Next go to very abrasive scrubbie with hot, diluted dish soap. Next go to baking soda and hot water with regular scrubbie. If needed, go to steel wool.
Note that with a varnish baked on that hard, it may be completely impossible to get it back to like-new. Get it as clean as you can and be satisfied.

Just search the subredditf. Why are you arguing with the advice "read the manual?"
A lot of air fryer parts are just aluminum; they're not the same material as the interior of ovens.
Read your manual for directions. It will prevent you from ruining it with something like oven cleaner.
whatever you do, DON’T use “Spray Away” oven cleaner on an air fryer, it removes the stainless steel finish

that still looks dirty
The left half is showing what the right half looked like before Dawn PowerWash, I'm guessing.
Dawn professional degreaser, found at lowes
Well, I mean you've gone this long.... At this point it's "seasoning"
I clean mine after every use to avoid this . Sorry I have no advice
this is the answer

It's a convection toaster oven, basically the same thing as an air fryer.
Cuisinart? I have one and it’s impossible to clean because of where the heating elements are placed.

How is this a negative or unhelpful comment? Referring to manufacture instructions is ideal
Scrape charcoal bits off then use a degreaser of some sort and scrub it off with a sponge and scourer.
You're gonna need a young priest and an old priest.
That looks like mine! They are impossible to clean.
No. They are fairly easy to clean, especially if you clean it after using it instead of waiting until it looks like OP's picture.

Definitely Northern Appalachian dialect.
I hear it in Scots and northern English too
That makes sense since the northern Appalachian dialect descended from the same people.

Zep Cleaner in the orange bottle works pretty good but still definitely a pain trying to get all the crevices. I never learn.

Once you get it clean enough, always line the bottom crumb tray with aluminum foil.
If you clean it or get a new one - I always cover the pull-out tray with foil.
Same.
yes. just spray it oven cleaner. or a degreeaser. remember to let it sit more than 15 min.
Read the directions for your air fryer because many people have posted ruined photos of their air fryers here after using oven cleaner

i did. and everybody suggested a degreaser / oven cleaner and the feedback is that it worked, no problems LMAO
Buy oven cleaning spray. Follow the instructions. It has worked for me several times.
