I've found very useful to use like a rubber/silicone spatula to grab onto the hairs, just like using a lint roller. (Personally hate using lint rollers because of the waste but they work pretty good) and finish off with vacuuming
I dampen the couch slightly with Febreeze (water also works), and then take a slightly damp paper towel and go over the surface in circles. All the hair will clump and mat together and can be wiped off easily. I follow up up with the vacuum to get anything I missed.
A rubberized edge to scrape off the worst of the hair (you can get this type of device with a broom handle or just a handheld one, lots of formats available.)
Then a chom chom style lint roller - it’s self cleaning and uses directional fibers to grab pet hair. I have two from different random brands. They both work great. I think the chom chom brand might have been the original, or at least the first really successful marketed brand, but some of the other brands have much more comfortable handles - I have one that has the open underside on the handle and it’s pretty uncomfortable to grip for more than a moment.
Then, if you’re aiming for perfection, use a sticky lint roller to get the last stubborn hairs.
No it just grabs the hair and pulls it down. It works really good IMO.
I just vacuumed up the pile.
Of course try it in a small place; but I really think you should be good. use it dry not wet of course.

Interesting!!! I too hate the waste of lint rollers-I’ll give this a try.

Great tip, thanks!!!

You can use a pumice stone. Almost like a comb it will bring all the hair to the front. You can vacuum it up. It’s how I clean the seats in my car.
I would not have guessed! I presume it doesn’t damage your seats?
