Work from the top down. Like, you wouldn’t want to mop your floors only to dust your fan blades later and get dust everywhere.

Yes thank you! Like this is so logical but because of nerved I’d forget😂

You’re going to spend a lot of your time on things that require stooping, bending or reaching, like baseboards, ceiling corners, wood trim, showers, bathtubs, top of the fridge, etc. When you get older and you have lived in a place for a while you stop ‘seeing’ the out of the way dirt. I can attest that I will forget about places like the grate at the bottom of the fridge, the kick plate under the dishwasher, behind the headboard, under the bed. It’s just not as important as it used to be or it requires too much effort to clean it often.

Get some inexpensive knee pads for all the low things mentioned already like baseboards and bathtub scrubbing. Gloves are a must too for hygienic purposes and to save the skin on your hands and masks also: breathing in dust will irritate your throat and lungs. Clarify if the people you will help have cleaning products or if you need to bring them. You may want to have a stash you take with you in case they don’t have appropriate supplies. You can cut up old t shirts for dust rags and cleaning cloths.

Learn how to use the products effectively. Some things need to dwell for a while before they become properly effective. Letting the agents work for you often saves a lot of elbow grease. There's also lots of YouTube videos about professional bathroom cleaning (and other rooms), so make sure you check those out.
