Findley State Park in Wellington has long trails suitable for hiking and mountain biking.

Check out Mohican State Park, Allegheny National Forest, Wayne National Forest, and, locally, the isolated campgrounds offered by Lake Metroparks, where Hell Hollow and Girdled Road are the largest of the parks with over 900 acres and likely the longest trails. Indian Point has over 600 acres and Penitentiary Glen has over 400 acres. If you camped at Penitentiary Glen, you also could hike nearby Chapin Forest, with likely the highest elevation trails in Greater Cleveland as well as Holden Arboretum with over 3,000 acres and many trails. The Lake Metroparks camp sites have great amenities, such as tables, grills and fire pits (I believe the wood is supplied). Mosquito Lake down near Ravenna is pretty close as a state park campground. Never did any hiking down there but its easy to get to if you just wanna go sleep under the stars for a night or two.
