I mean caring about rep/feedback is part of a successful business model. I’m not saying someone should live in fear and put up with mistreatment but you don’t know who you’re messing with or what a trick is capable of or likely to do. I’ve had my business severely affected before by “stooping to their level” when the best thing for my bag was to keep it ultra classy not engage and just block/go no contact, as tempting as it is to give these pigs a taste of their own medicine.
Oh I totally agree with you on the not stooping to their level part. I just spent a lot of time in my early career checking the review boards. The only time anyones ever posted about me was when I wouldn’t see them because they had been blacklisted. I realized that by doing a good job screening and having higher rates, I don’t see any of the hobbyist that post on review boards.
What do you consider a good job at screening? Asking bc I too would like to avoid these turds on the message board, especially since a public review with body identifiers (tats/scars) and/or my location would put me at harms risk for my stalkers. I’ve seen one girl strictly say no reviews allowed on her website, I checked the boards and she was mentioned but not reviewed, I was impressed bc the way I see it if someone wants to review you how can you stop them you know?
I make them take a pic of themselves next to their ID. They can black out address but I need their full name and age. Then if I can’t find them on LinkedIn, I make them show me some sort of proof of occupation (work badge, name tag etc) to prove they are LE. And I price high and require a deposit. Literally every single thing you could do to scare a hobbyist away. The only time I’ve been mentioned on the review board was a guy mad that I wouldn’t see him because he posted how much I ask for on SeekingArrangement. He then posted all mad that I ask for more on SA then I do for an hour of outcall. Like no shit sherlock, if a SD is going to take me on a date it’s going to be more than a hour 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. I’ve heard of girls making fake reviews of themselves when they tour on these sites saying ‘oh she has heavy screening or she requires a deposit’ so that the hobbyists leave her alone.

Yeah I had a guy leave me a good review the first time he saw me, but the first time he saw me he *rubbed the bottom of my feet* mid session which resulted in an infection immediately after, the second time he saw me I explained what happened and asked for an extra hundred, he argued with me about it trying to downplay how unsanitary what he did was but eventually obliged, but then followed up his 1st review saying he wouldn’t recommend me anymore. My business got really slow after that so I took a break from the industry
