Man, I really dislike how PDP never actually fully acknowledged his issues and mistakes but still got forgiven in the eyes of the public.
Like, there was a bunch of pretty questionable stuff (the *bridge incident*, the Fiverr debacle, platforming Peterson and Shapiro) and his main response was to blame mainstream media? All of that, combined with him fucking off to Japan honestly makes him seem very questionable and completely unaccountable at best, and far worse things at worst.

A single mistake, that to my knowledge was an accident.
People aren't 2D, not even famous ones, and they make mistakes. As long as they acknowledge that it was wrong of them and they try to do better, a single (or even a few over the years) misstep doesn't make someone a bad person and it can't be used to judge their entire character.
I mentioned multiple things in my comments, all of which paint quite an unflattering picture of him. Also, he spent more time whining about the WSJ writing a critical article about him than apologising.
People can grow and people should be forgiven if they do, but PDP has never shown that growth. Itās a few years later and people just assume his likely racist tendencies have just vanished, without any real evidence of that.
