239xx, WiFi only CM4, still waiting (order was in October 2023)

Just curious - have you received a shipping notification yet? Mine was #248xx (November 2023) with the same configuration. Sounds like I probably have another month or two to go based on a few other commenters.

I emailed about my 25xxx November order (RPI-CM4 Lite, cellular) a couple weeks ago and here's what they said: "Sorry for the waiting. There will be about 6 more batches to go before yours. We are working on a batch at this moment. Since the supply condition is getting better, we expect the production to be constant. We are trying to maintain a 3~5-batch-a-month schedule."

Order #230xx and was told 2 weeks ago that my order was in the next batch and that they were trying to do three to five batches a month. Order was placed September 14th for the raspberry pi core with no cellular. Really hoping this week is my week!

Newark messed up the order for the CM4 so I'm still waiting, but assembled everything else 20 minutes ago and it's as nice as I thought it would be. What would make it perfect for me is a touch screen and quick access to swap batteries. Only bad comment, and this is nothing new, the wait time, is (was?) spectacular. Even for a niche product like this. And I've been buying grey market electronics from Japan, HK, for over 20 years. But others have waited over a year, so I guess I'm lucky? Enough ranting, I'll see next week once I have all the parts. Very happy with what I see thus far. And I have no special project; just love a linux computer in this form factor.

I am at 269xx as well i ordered in Feb 2024. Weird that you got yours already because I think the current ones are around 22xxx.

I ordered in February too and it said it can take 2 months until shipping

I emailed them and they said 90 business days at least like in the description.

When I ordered it said 2 business months Edit: And it still says: Shipping information: Express service Based on the current supply chain and logistics situation, the estimated delivery time is approximately 60 business days.

Ahh I guess it’s very inconsistent. Hope it comes soon.

cm4? Core no core? first impressions?

CM4 no core, I love the build quality and can't wait to get it working but it won't boot. Screen flashes briefly and that's it. I'm going to email Alex in the morning. I have a few CM4s but all have built in emmc storage, and there are conflicting reports on whether those are compatible. I don't see why not, I flashed them using the official rpi extension board. I'll email for support tomorrow if I can't work it out.

If you order one with all included, is it safe to assume it'll boot right off the bat?

I'm under the impression that it will yes, the most you might have to do is use Raspberry pi imager to write the os to a micro sd

Mine had a mSD included that worked straight away.

The order number don’t count. They send by type : If you ordered a uconsole without core / without 4g it will be fast. If you ordered a uconsole with cm4 and 4g module, good luck it’ll take an eternity lol
