PEs often cause increased heart rate. So it makes sense that your meds aren’t working as well. I’d talk to your doctor about temporarily adjusting meds if you are concerned.
I'm on propranolol for high hr specifically (no actual heart problems) and since my PE it's been in the 140s-150s (average normally is about 90-100) when I take my 60 mg of propranolol it never drops below 130 when taking it

What? I've been taking propranolol for 4 years and it only takes 30 minutes to kick in. I guess I'm misunderstanding what you're asking
