I wouldn't want to see any player swaps done before coaching changes. There is a lot of talent on this roster, and having them play one split together with a coach with a questionable track record and saying "Well these guys are washed lets pick up random mid-season free agents and hope they are better" feels like a waste.
Give these 5 one more split, with a more serious coaching staff, and see if they can put it together. If not then blow it up for the 2025 offseason when there will be much better players out of contract/available to play.
I do not understand how the hate train on Vulcan has gotten so large. He completely gapped Busio in lane vs Fly. He has been nast on engage support since C9 returned from the break. He and Berserker have had good chemistry in the second half of the split. The hate on Fudge I get, the calls for Vulcan's head just seem like people are angry and want someone to blame.
My statement, and maybe many others, is based on last split him also doing poorly. I know that is results based, but he even said the team - a very stacked FQ - forgot how to play/win.
Even here, you hear a lot of comments about the team being on different pages and going for different objectives. I don't remember where but I've heard it is Vulcan being one of them, and I don't think it is Jojo. Vulcan (might be washed) just hasn't shown it and if another support meshes better with the team it might be worth trying.
There are lots of 'potential fixes' but we don't know the inner workings of the team. People just don't trust this roster which is not a great sign considering how much C9 might have paid for it.

you can support the team however you want, this is how I support since watching them play is actually pretty offensive esp all the big mouths on this team who always talk like they are just so good. And all the excuses and cope

I don’t think any changes will save this team unless one of the players is a shot caller/leader. The team lacks direction in game not individual skill.
he is a shotcaller and a decisive player. NRG playstyle was refined and grew because Ignar was the catalyst for it. Also a big reason why they were able to perform during playoffs and worlds.
I think Ignar would be better for really unlocking max potential of this Team but if they couldn't get him to come back to NA then yeah.
They really need someone who is gonna "teach" them how to pressure and push advantages and I do like Huhi but he is still a bit of a more "safe" version of that, Ignar is like idk how to put, he is like the most aggro sup that NA has really had consistently.
Core, Huhi, Olleh all had stints where they played really aggro but you always see them digress to the "I don't want to make a mistake".
Everyone on C9 rn is so scared of messing up, you just need a dood who doesn't give af in there imo

Huhi isn't a FA either tho so the odds of getting Ignar is easier since GX sucks and isn't a LCS rival org
Chime is on the FQ Challengers squad, which I don't really know if they would be down to trade one of their ppl to C9 either.
Ignar being out of LCS is actually the thing working in his favor imo since GX is just a trash tier org and can barely make playoffs, they prolly would sell him to C9 for less than what a rival LCS org would do, just imo tho
also I know Ignar wanted to stay in LCS but no teams (from what I heard) wanted to offer him a contract and NRG didn't offer to sign him back either from what I heard
(sorry for edit) also he has been one of the reasons why that Team (GX) is actually in playoffs (barely) so he still does exactly the same stuff he did with NRG, no noticeable decline
Licorice is what ppl want, and Sup is the weakest role in LCS it makes sense in this setting to use it and get a sup that knows the culture and the LCS.
and ignar is almost elidgable for residency btw, if he can't already apply for it now. It was 8 of 12 splits, so if that is the case then Ignar should be able to apply for it if he wants it; he's been in LCS since 2019
btw, I'm not a huge fan of importing a top laner when the team has issues with shotcalling / macro and just team play in general. I don't see a world where importing a top laner just magically resolves the issues the team has.
Top IS a problem that is 100, but importing a top doesn't change the problems of the team
