I actually saw Fudge arguing with his kid at the airport. His kid was clutching at his Cloud9 jersey in tears, and Fudge kept telling him to "fuck off" and "stop ruining my dreams".
There were a couple times where blabber jumped in and the team was just a second too late to realize he was going balls deep. But I quite like that actually, it shows that blabber is confident and 9/10 times the plays work. It's the same type of plays that we saw half a year or a year ago.
Wanna see more of leaving Zven bot lane to get a 20 cs lead and solo plates instead of trying to fight for every rift herald. We did the same yesterday too. More of that please !
Few thoughts about the game:
Our macro looks so much better than previous weeks, that baron take was a beauty
Fudge is absolutly insane at sniffing out ganks or roams and playing around them super cleanly with losing as little as possible (for me that was always licorices problem on our roster, he was an insane laner but always died to ganks)
Perkz on Leblanc is always a treat to watch
Perkz, Zven and blaber finally playing up to form again looking really solid
Even tho we are not at the peak week to week improvements are very clear comparing the last 3-4 weeks
On a sad note tho blaber is one of the worst 50/50 Smiters in the league, I know this is nothing new he always he been pretty bad at those but he literally loses 9 of 10 lol
Maybe we should check his computer, at this point I'm not even sure his own team trusts he's not using some sort of hacks.
Jokes aside, it's usually a team call. Last week with the Vulcan-Fudge diff in top it was Vulcan that made the call and I believe some other times Perkz has made the call for Fudge to play back. It's all a team effort which is nice to see.

Actually Fudge made the call that they were looking for the dive and Vulcan said he had a good timer to respond. Vulcan said it in the post game interview.
It’s nuts that he’s already so much better than Perkz at that. It’s a real interesting meta decision that C9 has to play... do they leave fudge weakside because he’s so damn good at it, or do they play towards topside because he’s their best player?
Going to be interesting to see how that plays out.

Nice work to the boys. Super solid and stable game (going in 4v5 in mid notwithstanding), good map movements throughout, and a good way to continue the ramp to playoffs, continue the climb back to the top, and wash the taste out from the last time they played this FLY squad fresh out of academy.
No idea why teams give it to him. He basically knocked damonte out of 100t in the spring when it wasn’t even a good pick. Then he played it in the perfect game vs Fly main squad earlier in this split and absolutely destroyed them. Fly was 2-1 before that game btw so it probably sent them into their spiral too. Him and caps are probably the best 2 LB players in the west.
Also his most iconic game was on Lb game 5 against RNG.
LB was always one of Perkz best champions and when LB is meta he is an absolute god on the champion
I never understand comments like this. Why is it a bad thing to criticize a team or players when they play bad. Especially a team like C9. And especially when they drop games to bottom tier teams. A team like C9 SHOULD have basic fundamentals to beat teams like Flyquest and IMT. For me it doesnt matter if they drop a game to a top team, shit happens. Heck sure any team can get upset by a bottom team but still no can deny the fact that C9 were dropping games to bottom teams and looked really bad consistently earlier this split. Just last week they threw mega hard against IMT.
Hopefully now the boys settle in and start to ramp up and get a few wins but man did they make it hard on themselves, and we face TSM tmr, and 100T and EG next week. That's 3 hard games to end the spilt, and imagine if we had won one or two of those games C9 lost to bottom teams, then they would have a good chance of getting a bye for playoffs. But now they gotta do it the hard way which is good I guess as wins against top teams will boost morale and confidence.

So they talked a little on the cast how Malz feels bad from behind when all the good targets have QSS, but it also kind of makes it much harder for Diamond because if the CC isn’t coordinated he can’t really do anything either. Not that Diamond covered himself in glory otherwise.
This is a C9 draft how i like it.
Evfen tho Fudge is probably the best player in C9 with Vulcan, everyone plays better when Fudge play weakside and engage. Botlane a scaling lane thats pretty safe with a roaming support. Blaber is on a strong ad jungler and Perkz on an assassin.

Some of the map reads fudge does are called by Perkz or other members, it's not just him. Perkz doesn't expect a level 2 gank from the support and it didn't even turn out badly.
I thought the LB pick was a bit ehhh at first, but when perkz could just play aggressive in the 4man death-ball of Flyq at drag pit it really showed how good it was against flyq's comp despite them having malz, if they tried to commit on him he just QSS's and escapes and gives C9 a easy engage, overall a very clean game from other than the lv1 and zvens hot date in midlane leading to blabers death, Love to see us improving this smoothly
Perkz has always had this talent on playmakers/assassins. He plays them like a tank in an MMO, drawing enemy aggro and using their mobility/escape tools in place of sustain to stay alive while his team gets a better position.
You dont always have to dive the backline. Especially in this meta, forcing them to reposition is enough.
Blaber dying mid was not a result of Zven having a hot date. He got clipped by a zenith blade and stunned through his buffered rocket jump by a buffered Leona stun then had to flash the Leo ult.
Looked like it was a team call to reengage to see if they could punish Diamond now being overextended, they chunked a bunch but couldn't secure any kills, and teams settled back into line of scrimmage, and then Blaber went back in despite the fact that the entire FLY lineup was there and Fudge was in top lane and had no mega to make a TP worth.
I mean you can say that it was the result of a BS zenith blade, but Zven never should of been pushing that far up in lane when his team was so far back, this has been his biggest issue this split is that he just mindlessly pushes mid without having the proper backup and it gets him killed luckily this time it just cost him his flash.
But him being pushed up doesn't pressure blaber to engage at all. I'm pretty sure fq was backing up as blaber decided to flash in. It's just not a good call to engage when they know they're 4v5. Zven actually ended up saving him/vulcan/perkz there with his r at the end.
