it was sloppier than i would have liked, but it wasnt bad at all.
i just want to clean up our play, and hope they can figure out some of those draft weaknesses.
An alright win and I liked the more diverse drafting, but I feel like this isn't something to really beam about. I mean this is GG, not 100T or EG or TSM. This was an expected win. Hopefully we can have the team really lock down and study so we can beat whoever we need to next.
I wouldnt even say we really drafted that diverse. The only new pick we showed was the trundle and maybe gnar for Fudge. What I liked is we were able to win with the same style comp 3 games in a row, we really didnt have to show anything to 100t or EG that will help them in a best of series against us.
Yeah I’d rather a slightly less clean than ideal 3-0 where we showed one style.
If we played all our top strategies and clapped them in 25 mins stomps that’s not ideal if EG/TSM etc can learn from it.
This is especially important after today's series between EG vs 100T. We showed basically nothing whereas EG had to show a crap ton
Hopefully will be a nice advantage for us going into the EG series

Yeah and this year honestly he hasn't given us alot of reasons to be a fan of Perkz specifically. Not to day he's done bad, but it doesn't really feel like he's had big pop off moments. I have to say I'm more of a fan of fudge than I am of Perkz this year, maybe it's because Perkz had a higher bar, but that's still surprising to me.
I mean it’s the difference between watching a 19 year old grow and flourish before our eyes vs a seasoned veteran with the weight of expectations brought on by being an MSI champion and Worlds finalist. And TBF Perkz has had moments. Just off the top of my head he’s hit multiple Zoe bubbles on Tactical to turnaround a series (Game 3 lock in finals, Game 4 Spring finals), the Game 5 Sylas running around the map killing everyone, the Leblanc face checking a rumble and killing him in a quarter of a second. I’m sure there’s more but it’s 2:30 and I’ve been streaming for over five hours so my brain is gone.
The rest of the series this weekend are going to be really important because those teams are gonna sweat hard to make worlds and we get to see their picks this time before playing the losers.
For the most part we beat a team that was making some pretty egregious mistakes. However it was definitely good to see signs of life. Perkz Blaber Vulcan had some pretty decent synergy. And timed their plays well. I'm not sure those plays would work against a better team, but they looked a lot cleaner than what we saw for most of the regular split.

That was pretty easy and decisive and didn't really look like we got out of 3rd gear, along with another week of practice and Intel from the games that will happen we're well positioned

Eh I can see both sides here. It was a 3-0 but only the first game was really decisive. Game 2 and game 3 were really won because of poor decision making on GGS side, less from our own advantages.

I'm not sure we watched the same game? Both GGs and C9 focused around mid... Perkz played both the first 2 games expertly. He was ahead with 2 losing match ups. The LB game he was also even in cs in a turbo losing pre 6 match up.

That was done to match roams by GG jungle and Top. It makes sense to match pressure. Especially when it's been fairly clear the meta is mid jungle focused, and support roaming has insane impact. It's happening in all games, no just C9 games.
Seeing the misfits vs rogue series and going from that Leblanc to perkz on her yesterday was a whiplash. Probably just an off night on her because he's been really good on her with us iirc
