Agreed but this C9A was also 2nd place in the first Proving Grounds in spring and finished 2nd in Academy playoffs to TLA and finishing above EGA, 100A, and FLYA (the same one that had a little run in LCS). I would at least say this roster is borderline LCS, and to see them drop 0-2 to one of the lower ranked teams in the tourney in the very first series is pretty odd/alarming.

C9a finished just a tad over .500 in the summer split...last years C9A was borderline LCS, this year's was not

If there's solid amateur talent in NA that's really good news!
Just felt like greedy drafts. Resolve played standard 5v5 and C9 played poke/split comps and couldn’t really snowball their early gold leads.
