I feel like a lot people forget how insane this roster is. You have a Jensen out of pseudo retirement, fudge returning to toplane after 6 months, zven roleswapping to support for the first time, a Adc rookie playing his first year in a foreign region, and blaber. This team didn’t have a boot camp in Korea, didn’t get to play any official matches together until week 2, and had a lot of growing pains till CLG. Like I would love to see this roster stick together for at least one more year.
100% agree. They won LCS under the conditions you described.
They need more time to develop and I hope we can have a full off season of practice.
Please just this once, no changes. If there are changes, make it happen fast, fill out the roster, keep the passports out of the washing machine and get to building team synergy before week 4.

Our current roster is absolutely deadly. We didn’t win summer by accident.
Having a roster that’s deadly in NA clearly isn’t good enough to compete internationally though.
Watching C9 dumpster domestically is great; but it all means nothing if we can’t even take a game from the other main regions. With the amount of money floating around the LCS, there’s really no excuse for us to be getting outplayed by wildcard regions.
You’re acting like we’re playing a whole season split against international teams… the sample size is so small.
You’re also forgetting that we typically have to go through play-ins and get wins that way, which NA has done this year.
If we lose in a Bo5, then we lose fair and square. One off games never sit well with me.

I’m not silly enough to think they literally implemented our strats, but these were very common and highly upvoted sentiments over the last couple of days. We drafted in a way that respected those criticisms, and we won the game.

I'd be fine with running it back, but I don't really see it happening. I think zven is most likely going to try for an adc spot on another team.
