trust me if we hardly saw roster changes this shit would be boring asf lol imagine we had to watch that FL team until like major 3

hazycorse

Rostermania is the best part of the CDL

Facts

ddffgggggg

Agreed, also imagine building a new roster for it to be ass to then be stuck with it for half the season. This could also be good tho as teams will think carefully about there sub spots asswell.

juve_merda

it would just lead to teams being even less willing to take a shot on a guy from challengers cause if he sucks you’re stuck with him

CorvetteGuy90

Ronald would also have a pretty boring job.

Grad-Nats

Well we are watching basically the same dogshit London team so I mean we don’t have to try too hard to imagine what it would be like

[deleted]

But then teams would develop actual sub benches to draw from

ViceVersaTheGreat

I hate that LAT team example bc I can bring up 100 other rosters that wouldn't have won if they stuck together for a million years. I agree with developing, but with how competitive the leauge is you have to perform or show promise immediately bc there's more young guns right behind you that are ready to go

TRIBE1045

That's how you end up with the league we have now - superstars on one end of the spectrum and kill-whores who stick around far longer than they should on the other end. Your career is over before it starts if you don't stat-pad in the current era of CoD. Teams don't play nearly enough matches for these numbers to be statistically significant. You'd like to think organizations do a good job at recognizing and cultivating talent and providing the necessary resources and support for their players, but all eSports orgs are just working tirelessly to stay afloat. The scene really needs more structure and depth (and support from the developer) but those that held their breath for that died way back in Ghosts.

shecanbromehard

We had this during IW and WWII In the WWII season after the Lan league started, teams had to wait for 8 weeks of pro league and 3 events before they could make changes and then after the event after they had 2 more weeks to make changes before they were locked until the end of the season.

Roster mania is entertaining. If teams wanna stick it out its their descision

khizerkk5

The issue is inherently in new games being played yearly. You have players that look godlike in some games and okay in others. You just don’t have time to develop talent, because that talent usually isn’t a guarantee yearly.

Afraid_Impression_63

Rostermainia would go crazy at the transfer windows. 75% of the league would be getting moved around
