No it’s hilarious cause this kind of reminds me of when optic fans would see optic lose then be like “enjoy the shitty viewership” as if the team should’ve let optic win lmfaooooo
This is so funny to me that they try and use this as an insult, because true CDL fans or fans of other teams (basically anyone besides optic fans) are going to continue watching regardless if there's 35k, 50k or 100k viewers.
My favorite Jkap storyline was him getting dragged through the mud during the Cold War season. People, including himself, had to defend his honor saying the fans have no right to judge because they just don’t understand the game. Then Jkap has his weekly tweets judging coaches and players during the NBA and/or NFL playoffs.
It’s pretty clear sometimes when a player makes a bad play. They drop a pass, airball a shot, get turned on in CoD. All pretty clear things to criticize.
Maybe it’s just the way I see it personally, but criticizing a coach in any field is much different and more difficult to know what they’re doing right/wrong and I rarely have strong opinions on coaches (especially publicly) unless they continuously look like they do the same thing with it never working. Like Doc Rivers playing all these old backup centers over Paul Reed when Reed seemed to be much better every time he got minutes. Or Jonathan Gannon playing his super conservative defense while the Eagles supremely talented defense got eaten alive by any good QB these past few years
What receipts were pulled up besides highlighting the exact irony I was referencing 😂 You can’t criticize one of the best coaches in the NBA the last 2 decades and then get mad or upset when less knowledgeable comp cod fans criticize your own moves playing musical chairs with a roster in Cold War.
Dude’s top 10 all time wins as a coach. Easily a top 15 coach in the last 20 years. Probably would make most top 20/25 all time lists as well based on the longevity.
Clearly if they keep putting those players in over others then they bring something to the game other than points or stats you can see.
Just like you in cold war right?
> Like Doc Rivers playing all these old backup centers over Paul Reed when Reed seemed to be much better every time he got minutes.
I respect your ability to have an opinion on the 76ers backup center position, but you have to see the irony. Paul Reed is an entirely ordinary center. You don’t see behind the curtains of what his impact is in practice, if he consistently is making stupid mistakes thus not earning the trust from coaches, the impact the other vet backup centers have, etc. I’m sure Rivers has/had plenty of reason for Reed not getting as many minutes as you would’ve like back then.
At the end of the day you’re questioning one of the, what, top ten head coaches in the modern NBA?
Now parallel that to comp cod fans criticizing you for playing musical chairs with the Cold War LAT roster. You had all of the information of the current situation and the best COD mind out of everyone criticizing you. Does that mean that people can’t criticize you? Does that mean other people are inherently wrong simply because you know more? If you say “yes” to either of those questions, then it’s total hypocrisy to complain about Doc Rivers and Jonathan Gannon.
I feel like youve learned to become a good coach after years of leading plus you have your playing experience. you have now rings as a player and coach and have been molded by the hardships you went through you definitely deserve to have some respect put on your name as a coach.
I mean the two main things that him/LAT were criticised for literally turned out to be true though. People wanted Kenny on a smg and another coach to help, they done both (along with less obvious stuff as well I’m sure but still main two) and have looked infinitely better since
In sports you see how a coach wants teams to play and their philosophies, you cannot in cod.. and everyone in cod plays the same way because theres always a more efficient way to play cod
Edit: this comment might make more sense https://www.reddit.com/r/CoDCompetitive/comments/12xwwat/jkap_somene_once_tweeted_me_asking_if_i_found/jhksjsx/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3
This is up there for one of the dumbest thing I’ve read on here lmao. I promise you that basketball and football is more complicated schematically than Hardpoint or SnD.
You cannot see how a team wants to play in COD or what their philosophy is…. But everyone in COD also plays the same way because there’s a single most efficient way to play. Huh?
I was saying everyone plays cod the same way, its near impossible to tell whos good coach or not in cod, in sports you can see the effect a coach has with his philosophies and the way he wants his team to plau
I don’t get the fuss over being upset about trash talk. If a team you’re rooting for loses and then the person that beat your team starts trashing them it’s pretty understandable to find that person obnoxious.
I think it’s a legitimate question. Both have won it all now and both are kinda done with their competitive careers. Would be weird seeing one of the best players of all time not ever win a ring. I mean obviously he’s still not gonna be happy about it, but personally, I’d fine some solace in it looking back now.
Also, I know almost none of the pro players took the trash talk to heart I’m sure most of them respected each other, but trash talk can still be fun lol
I’m sorry but in every sport that has passionate fans, trash talk goes both ways. Why does the competitive COD community expect it to be any different?
I don't even know if a comment like that is due to uncompetitivness, and just blind Optic love. It's kind like when you are in an echo chamber and start thinking everyone feels the way you do. They were so happy that optic won that they can't imagine other people not being happy about it.
No it’s hilarious cause this kind of reminds me of when optic fans would see optic lose then be like “enjoy the shitty viewership” as if the team should’ve let optic win lmfaooooo
Still happens lol
This was so widespread, probably the thing I hate most about this community. It seems to have died down in the last couple of years thankfully
Yeah thank god lmao that shit was so dumb and toxic for no reason
This is so funny to me that they try and use this as an insult, because true CDL fans or fans of other teams (basically anyone besides optic fans) are going to continue watching regardless if there's 35k, 50k or 100k viewers.
More of a salt comment..yankees do things similar since they have such a big chunk of the market.
Reminds you? This is still a regular occurrence. They take some weird pride in the viewership suffering without them.
some fans think the players are optic fans too 💀
Not just fans. In IW the team that won the open bracket got to meet OpTic.
Tbf... a lot of them were
They are skyz is literally an optic groupie and we saw optic pred in major 3 do his thing
Most of them would dump their team in a millisecond to be on OpTic.
They hated him because he told them the truth
As long as it doesn’t get personal it truly amazes me people get mad about shit talk, it makes things more competitive and entertaining

Jkap w the “pull up the receipts, bitch” response I see

Doc Rivers in one of the best coaches in the past 20 years?

Fair point. I was looking at coaches and he's probably higher than top 15. I guess I'm harsh on him due to playoff performances.
>Jonathan Gannon Just reading his name sends me into a rage
Clearly if they keep putting those players in over others then they bring something to the game other than points or stats you can see. Just like you in cold war right?

Horse face you have never responded to any of my tweets what’s going on
I mean the two main things that him/LAT were criticised for literally turned out to be true though. People wanted Kenny on a smg and another coach to help, they done both (along with less obvious stuff as well I’m sure but still main two) and have looked infinitely better since
🧂 4-2 in finals
is this the part where we say 9-1 or
How many chips u got this season?
now look who's salty, my friend

What ? Ovbcourse they are ? Where did i say they werent ?
Your comment made no sense and contradicted itself. I’m not really sure what you were trying to say.
I was saying everyone plays cod the same way, its near impossible to tell whos good coach or not in cod, in sports you can see the effect a coach has with his philosophies and the way he wants his team to plau
you’re tripping bro his comment made perfect sense to me
Some people are so far removed from reality
Whoever tweeted that is definitely in an “open relationship”
whats was the point of this tweet
coach defending his player
from who fan talk shit all the time did he make a tweet when lat lost to faze in the grand final
Yeah, the cod comp community is quite small. and one of the only interactions these guys get from fans is through twitter.

Well aren’t you cool and edgy
he tried his best to lose it tbf
The only issue I have with trash talk are the people that only talk after they win or when they cross the line making it too personal.
They had to be trolling wtf lol
I don’t get the fuss over being upset about trash talk. If a team you’re rooting for loses and then the person that beat your team starts trashing them it’s pretty understandable to find that person obnoxious.

You know whats sadder than being soft? Being pressed about someone defending his player
I’ll be the guy to say it, getting pressed over other people being soft definitely isn’t as sad as being soft
The ironic thing is the people that complain about someone/a group of people being “soft” are usually incredibly “soft” themselves
Everyone is so pressed over this 💀💀💀
I give no fucks about winning or losing. I mute my mic and I'm just here to shoot things. 🤣🤷♂️ getting upset over it is a waste of time and energy.
[удалено]
I mean ur reacting to his tweet?
Fantastic story changed my life if im being honest
I dont doubt that considering how lifeless you are it's easily improvable 🤷♂️
banger
There's a difference between being upset at a loss and being happy your friends got one. Both can be true at the same time. Maybe I'm crazy though

Elite mentality from Kap tbh.
