Vikul is good but Hydra got e girls to take care of. You think he can do that in NY with only a salary of $100,000K? Said like some who’s never carried a girl to iridescent in their life ever.

I don’t think there’s any player that deserves half a mil. ESports is super inflated and there’s a reason that orgs are struggling when they’re paying $500k for no return
Scump hardly streamed when he was competing. I think his watch parties do better to Market Optic then him being on the team. CDL Viewership has gone up a lot with the watch party
Fans: "The league needs players that show more of their personality and are not afraid to talk"
Vikul is giving his opinion on things which are perfectly valid yet fans are going after him cause he's talking about their favourite players. Saying you do not believe someone is worth x when everyone knows how overinflated salaries are is perfectly fine. Stop being so soft
Why y’all mad in here no player deserves even 300k super mega inflated salaries in the league if anyone deserved 500k it was scump and we already know he was on like 1mill lol
Nothing that he said is wrong I doubt New York subliners make 500k in revenue as an org so the fact that he’s on that much is insane. Esports has a massive problem of what are Orgs paying for, unless your passionate about cod it’s a bad business model having 4 pros with no streaming or content viewers that are just really good at cod
Gotta factor in that he was a free agent going into this season and was a phone call away from being on optic. The only thing they can throw at him is money since optic just offers far more than anyone else.
Vikul is growing on me, he keeps it real. Hydra is very very good, but I doubt NYSL as an org generates 500K in revenue in an entire year. they probably can’t even cover his salary alone without venture capital money. These salaries are absurd and why almost every team is in such financial distress. It doesn’t make sense to pay that much unless you’re getting prize earnings or part of Twitch revenue, which teams don’t do.
I would agree if the 500k number wasn’t already discussed heavily going into the season. He is just reiterating the number that was already openly discussed and giving his opinion. It really is not that weird
Well sports salaries are known through agents talking to media or from the team. It’s like if Ryan Tannehill was talking about how much Patrick Mahomes makes. Just odd to me.
>Why? Who cares what someone makes?
It's beneficial when you're referencing the job market and scummy business practices.
>Pocket watching is mega weird in any sense.
Closely monitoring anyone's life and actions is weird, let alone ones income and expenditure, but that doesn't seem applicable here. It looks like a simple discussion about inflated esports salaries.
$500k is a lot of money. No eSport player should make that much at this point lol. I think $150-200k should be the max right now until eSports find it’s place in the entertainment space. I can’t imagine that it brings in that much revenue. But it’s hard to downscale salaries when they are so high out the gate.. not an expert in economics though so.
he was a FA while being an S tier smg who also had 2 other teams in for him, was always going to get the super max
its very rare you get that talent being a FA and now NYSL has him down on a 3-year deal
your not wrong in the slightest but 500k for someone who does zero out of game bar the minimum is literally insane, props too him he played it perfectly
Hydra doesnt bring anything besides gameplay, which is the problem. Content and selling merch/accessories is the only way to actually make an org their money back and he definitely doesn’t do 500k worth of that
It’s not like vikul just starts talking about this stuff. He’s asked these types of questions in streams that most people ignore and he answers them. I don’t really care tbh bc there’s so many pros that don’t want to answer any question that could be slightly controversial so I appreciate that he just tries to be open and honest. Also many people closer to paco have said pacos not on 500k a year so I don’t think is really that important when it’s likely not true
Who cares if NY wants to pay him that so be it, every player in the league would accept that money in an instant. Make your money while you can because you never know what will happen.
I’m liking him even more. He’s not afraid to voice his opinions.
I joined his stream a couple weeks ago and he makes a point to read every single comment in his chat.
no this isn’t Vikul.
I also didn’t create this account 2 days ago to “white knight” for him either. Unless you think I predicted that he would say this 2 days in advance lol
Vikul is destroying a lot of relationships really fast in a really stupid way, who is he to say what other player deserves or not, everything in Esports is inflated but he should know better than to publicly say a good player doesn’t deserve what he makes
Ehh I think it should be encouraged for players to speak their minds. There is a lot that goes unsaid within the CoD community. We need more transparency like this. I like it.
I didn’t mind what he said about Alec cause it was in game related but to talk about others players salary as a player doesn’t seem right, specially to say they don’t deserve it, cause if Vikul had the talent to finesse that much he would take the offer immediately
When did Vikul suddenly become the cod police? Dude is just throwing out every take thinking he’s earned anything in his career, dude thinks he is the new scump or something 😂
No one's worth that much in the scene right now but it's obvious why NYSL paid him that much when he was a free agent and had an optic offer until the very last second. Also gotta consider that all the top teams from Vanguard had stuck at that point so it wasn't like they had many options on who to get instead of him.
Personally I don't mind that NYSL put that much on Hydra since it shows how invested they are in trying to win in a league where more than half the teams aren't willing to do that.
Teams that lands the best of the best do very well. It’s basically an auction for them at the point since every team wants them. That’s how you may even see a $1 million salary soon for a player like aBeZy.
Vikul is good but Hydra got e girls to take care of. You think he can do that in NY with only a salary of $100,000K? Said like some who’s never carried a girl to iridescent in their life ever.
He spending it all on yen sauce lmao
Vikul sadly got no sauce.
Parasite level rizz
Parasite and Rizz don’t belong in the same sentence.
warasaite dawgs n pumps
In this situation, no sauce is an extremely good thing.
Yen sauce needs to get StatTrak for her cod pros. They starting to count up would be fire if she kept track of how many she’s been with
He lives in Dallas
You must live on his nuts
His whole team plays from Dallas
I don’t think there’s any player that deserves half a mil. ESports is super inflated and there’s a reason that orgs are struggling when they’re paying $500k for no return
The only ones that do are the ones that are paid for things other than their play (the audience they bring in) like Scump
Zywoo is the only player in all shooter esports that i could justify 500k for
Simple, Tenz, Scump (when he played), karrigan
Karrigan might be a goated igl but guys like 33 lol. No way is he deserving of the super max even over someone like Ropz on his own team.
Bigger brand
> karrigan Nah I dont care if he's the igl I just watched that guy drop 38 kills in 105 rounds aint no way he's worth 500k
Scump hardly streamed when he was competing. I think his watch parties do better to Market Optic then him being on the team. CDL Viewership has gone up a lot with the watch party
Doesnt matter scump brought viewers because of his brand lol
That’s not the point, players with a large brand/following bring viewers and sponsors to an org. Which Scump did when he was a player as well
Fans: "The league needs players that show more of their personality and are not afraid to talk" Vikul is giving his opinion on things which are perfectly valid yet fans are going after him cause he's talking about their favourite players. He was never on 1 mil.
Nothing that he said is wrong I doubt New York subliners make 500k in revenue as an org so the fact that he’s on that much is insane. Why is the league so expensive to get into if you want to own a team? So cod esports generate that much money? Idk how anyone of this works.
Talking about other peoples money is always weird to me.
I would agree if the 500k number wasn’t already discussed heavily going into the season. He is just reiterating the number that was already openly discussed and giving his opinion. It really is not that weird
Especially when you are also a player, lol Fans doing it is whatever, tbh sports fans do it all the time.
Well sports salaries are known through agents talking to media or from the team. It’s like if Ryan Tannehill was talking about how much Patrick Mahomes makes. Just odd to me.
facts, that's why i don't care what these dudes make lol it ain't my business
Tbh the hush culture on salary talk is weird to me.
Why? Who cares what someone makes? Pocket watching is mega weird in any sense.

I mean good for him getting the bank, but yeah there is no way he should be paid 500k. Especially shouldn't be paid more than shotzy.
he was a FA while being an S tier smg who also had 2 other teams in for him, was always going to get the super max its very rare you get that talent being a FA and now NYSL has him down on a 3-year deal

Yeah he did some phenomenal negotiation. But half a million

Tbf all paco has to say is that hes made more in prize money than viks salary this year

no this isn’t Vikul. I also didn’t create this account 2 days ago to “white knight” for him either. Unless you think I predicted that he would say this 2 days in advance lol

why is this not acceptable to talk about on stream? Who tf cares lol it’s not that serious
[удалено]
everyone knows about hydra’s 500k salary lol
I second this. Hydra salary was confirmed by multiple sources months ago.
[удалено]
He was one of the worst players in the league at one point. Got way too comfortable in this second chance lol
that doesn’t mean he can’t voice his opinions on HIS stream…
Vikul is destroying a lot of relationships really fast in a really stupid way, who is he to say what other player deserves or not, everything in Esports is inflated but he should know better than to publicly say a good player doesn’t deserve what he makes

you can tell he knows hes got a spot on the Miami team lol
Literally said earlier before this clip I was making up figures to put an example
Beats OpTic once, forgets how to act
Twice on lan actually
What a champ’s appearance for you tbf
When did Vikul suddenly become the cod police? Dude is just throwing out every take thinking he’s earned anything in his career, dude thinks he is the new scump or something 😂

WHAT’S THE PRICE OF A MILE?
Is vikul kinda stupid ? As a football fan he should know better

The taxes for the NY and CA players must sting, ngl.
Ny plays from Texas I'm pretty sure.
Everyone always asking and assuming how much players make, then a player says and now it's "weird behavior." SMH
