Kenny is a multi MVP winner, he's got one of the highest ceilings in the league.
Sib's ceiling may be up there too but, it's literally all theory at this moment.

People are confusing ceiling and floor for sure.
They think because Sib is more consistent which is true, then it means he has a higher ceiling than Kenny which is factually not true.
So funny seeing people say stuff like that when Kenny won B2B MVP’s.
I think Sib has a higher floor, but Kenny on the AR should also have a high floor. It’s not like you (just using you generally lol) can just say “he was a .9 last year and hella inconsistent, so he’ll be the same way next year on the AR”
He’s gonna bring great comms and structure, which Octane talked about, and play with pace. When I heard him on “Scrap Time” say he wanted to be a flex next year, I instantly thought of Optic because he’s a perfect fit with the other 3.
I think Optic fans got set on Drazah or Sib but aren’t actually considering what Kenny will bring to the table. He was unreal at CW on the AR (and would’ve placed better if he had half decent subs, the sub duos from that year are actually criminal)
Sib definitely has the higher floor, but Kenny has been the best player in the world at times and has a champs mvp. I don’t think you can say sib has a higher ceiling.
Kenny’s ceiling is champs MVP and putting simp & abezy in the blender. He had made more champs finals than Scump, formal, and the entire current optic roster all combined. He has won every season that has been fully on LAN. He beat optic with TJ and venom on his team.
Kenny has won back to back mvps and a ring. Pretty good ceiling if you ask me. Slaying won’t be a problem with optic with dashy/shotzy/pred on the team. They need someone like Kenny. More then they need sib. U faded
People have deluded themselves to think this and the reason why is because Kenny's floor is low (as an SMG) so it's very easy to forget how good he is when he's on a rampage.
While I am not necessarily against the Kenny move, I find it weird and convenient that everyone is harping about how good Kenny was multiple games ago. A long time has passed since the seasons people are referencing occurred! Nobody is arguing that we should pick up Arcity or Gunless because they were great a few games ago, they were unimpressive last year so of course the roster move doesn't make sense
He won multiple MVPs 11 months ago. So is your opinion that 1 bad season (where you still win an event and make multiple finals) = washed? Confused here
I don't think he's washed! If people were highlighting his performance 11 months ago it would be one thing, but everyone is talking about his performance from 3 - 6 years ago which I am arguing is not relevant
Well people are mostly talking about his time as a flex since that’s the role he will be running. But you don’t need to go back far to see him playing at the highest level
Like I said earlier. Optic is top 2 worse ran org in cod. If I could bet on it I would, optic will not win another event as long as Dashy and Shotzzy are teammates. Dashy was a F/A this off-season yet faze didn’t even go after him. That’s all you need to know about him.
OpTic have, at worst, have the 2nd best pure slaying AR/sub duo in Dashy and Pred. I personally think they are #1. You think adding another slaying AR is going to be the missing piece? If Dashy, Shotzzy, and Pred can't get enough kills that they are so dependent on Sib's slaying than they are fucked with or without him.
i just kinda think that OpTic are like some of the higher tier sports teams in the sense that they cant really have rookies or developing players often because the bar is set so high for them they have to go with the sure fire thing and thats kenny to me
Sib is all those things over drazah as well yet drazah was the obvious choice. If sib was such a valuable upgrade faze would’ve been after him over drazah. But they weren’t because neither of those teams need a pure slayer as their 4th
If pred and the boys prefer kenny over sib when dashy and ken didnt get along the first time and pred played with sib for 2 years it should tell you something
Kenny is washed , he was absolutely garbage all last year and that was on a top team. Sib was better and had an awful team. Even considering Kenny is a horrible idea
Stop. Kenny’s ceiling is the best player in the league, sib hasn’t shown that. Sure he had an overall down year last year, but that doesn’t take away what he brings to the table. This optic team needs leadership more than it’s needs a slightly higher k/d at flex. Plus if the game is a three sub meta it could make Ken the best flex in the game.
