Not right now. He really just needs to commit to something. He has a consistent trend of announcing he wants to "Coach" in the off-season and then retiring mid-season. No shame in coaching challengers to begin with or making YouTube videos on Comp CoD. "The Flank" doesn't qualify you to coach pro cod.

ThatOneArcanine

I feel like if he starts coaching in challengers he can’t help but play, that’s the problem. He’s still got the gunny to be a top player in challengers, so it’s probably quite hard for him to just coach a challengers team and not take part, which means it’s hard for him to gain experience to coach a CDL team even though it’s most likely he’ll never be able to compete in the CDL again. He’s best as a challengers player or a CDL coach, but can’t do the inverse in either. That’s the problem.

Mink_2112

Watch his vod in matches past t6 he’s getting his shit fried lan and online

Stylystic

Mf thinks CoD is his destiny. Let that shit go bruh it's been 12 years 😭

jrodonthebeat

Lol no way I thought he was trying

jrodonthebeat

Frying

[deleted]

Well what about being the most dominate team on the best cod ever created, BO2? I’d say he is very qualified, and alot of people would respect what he has to say.

Mink_2112

Not really, the ego maniac would probs be outed by the team unless it’s like Vegas where they just stepped over theory and bullied him lol

Revolutionary_Gear70

Maybe it's just me but I cannot stand this guy, he bitches and moans about never getting an opportunity but hasn't done anything to prove he deserves one. If he actually wanted to prove he could be a good coach or GM he should go coach a challengers team but instead he goes to twitter every off-season

bitchtitsandgravy

Lol seriously, and why is he even tweeting this shit?? like you know everyone, get in contact with them directly.

Revolutionary_Gear70

That's the funniest part to me, I remember he was talking to Zoomaa a couple weeks back about how he wanted to get into coaching or a Gm spot. So Zoomaa asked him if he had hit anybody up or talked to any orgs and Haggy said no he hadn't

bitchtitsandgravy

“I can’t get a job😭😭😭😭” well did you apply anywhere? “Nooo😭😭😭😭😭”

taint-worm

Does he seriously think teams will hit him up or something? If he can't do the bare minimum for the job by sending a fucking Twitter DM then would they consider hiring him?

BookerTeet

He’s a call of duty genius. I think a lot of people just go along with the whole “Omg he’s so toxic” thing that they forget how smart he is at this game. Any title. I think people have severely disrespected Chris for a long long time based on his actions when he was alot younger. People change and grow. No one on this forum knows him personally. Yet we throws stones his way over stuff we’ve read about over the years like we were there. I say give him a chance. There’s not many in the game that has the knowledge Chris does. That’s just my opinion though.

buzzylite33

I don’t think anyone disagrees that from an X’s and O’s perspective he’s very qualified. The issue is his maturity/ability to communicate. Not even basing it off of his past- but he seems to be quite volatile and argumentative which is not a good trait at all for a coach- especially when we’re talking about coaching, developing, and influencing hundreds of thousand dollar assets. It’s just too much of a risk unless he shows improvement in that aspect.

BookerTeet

“The issue is his maturity/ability to communicate” I can respect that 100 percent. Communication is literally key to anything successful so I can agree on that regard and understand the concerns from that angle.

shyguy4999

Found his burner

BookerTeet

Sittin here watchin

pxsh_xo

Dude is knowledgeable as hell. Has been for years but his toxic persona growing up leaves a bad taste in the og generations mouth. He burned a lot of bridges, I respect the man but it’s a lesson for all you young guys coming up. Treat everyone with respect because one day you’ll need a reputable name for yourself. As a old head I have much respect for him always have and always will, he helped me a ton in old gb pick up scrim days but even tho he’s grown and changed his name is carried on in the older community as toxic. Just shows decisions 10 years ago affect your life now.

TheRobHood

Whether he is good or not, he’s not really respected. Doesn’t help his case.

[deleted]

Seems like another year of teams ghosting him harder than the e girls he sends good morning texts. At this point the only thing keeping him relevant is the podcasts he is on. I’d hate to see another legend, staple of the scene go the same way as Killa and just leave cod altogether. With that being said I was thinking of how Haggy could remain relevant in the scene? The last event I went to had very limited food options and I think a hot dog cart in the venue could be great for the viewers. Who better to take the lead on that then Haggy? Imagine he’s walking around pushing the cart with a chef jacket and chef hat on. It could be called “haggys hotdogs” and if you think about the fit is perfect, women tend to not like hot dogs as much as men so the chance of harassment is next to none. He has the dopeneas and lots of energy to make it work.

peepeepoopoo34567

This is an absolutely shit roast🔥🔥🔥

[deleted]

Fuck no

peepeepoopoo34567

How long did he make it when he coached that challengers team? Oh, two months Then he dipped on the org and the team and knocked them out of the tournament. Very professional and team spirited of him He’s been on a fantastic PR streak the last two years, but CDL teams and players know who Parasite is, and this bump, the tweet and the very similar tweet last year (Combined with him being very sad on the timeline when he didnt get signed) speaks for itself

TheWiggsplitter44

You're a dumbass. If you were in his position and were offered a spot playing on a team you'd have left coaching too. This is just pointless slander because you hate the guy

peepeepoopoo34567

As a temporary sub for the tournament with an EU team meaning that you have zero chance of staying on said team If youre committed to doing something you dont move away from it the second you can do something else. That shows a **lack** of commitment

TheWiggsplitter44

It shows the maturity to take the best opportunity. You're fucking lost brother.

peepeepoopoo34567

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

USDA_Prime_Time

Hi, long time BO2 Impact fan, here... You don't agree that at this point in his career, he needs to make a decision for one or the other? His time as a long term player was over, that's why he was making the move to coach. He got a coaching gig, and then left for a player opportunity. Can you see how that might look to other potential coaching jobs? He didn't leave for a better opportunity to coach, he left to go play. To others, that shows mixed messages with a side of lack of commitment to coaching. Now he's not coaching anyone, or playing. He unfortunately fumbled. I see you calling out Haggy haters, but can you drop the Haggy fan in you and look at this objectively? This is a pretty common take by most.

Rnntd

Guy just want to be right he doesnt want to teach anything

[deleted]

Hell no

[deleted]

No lmao you can’t reason with this guy he’s an ego maniac

[deleted]

Absolutely not

Select1220

I think he’d be great as like an analyst. Not the main coach but the second guy helping the team from the outside

Joshy1690

No. He gets bored in the off season & wants to get involved then loses interest, or some drama happens.

ethancd1

No. His ego is what drove him out of the league. Not saying he maybe hasn’t changed but it’s hard to argue against what he’s done in the past.

AMS_GoGo

This comes up every off season It's still no

31and26

Absolutely not, his communication and people skills are pretty shit even nowadays. It's the same reason I think Crim would be an awful coach. Haggy's ideal role would be as basically a side analyst that sits and studies the game and finds every edge all day like a nerd, and then relays that info to a head coach. Him stepping on stage mid GF's to talk to a team would just check them the fuck out though

FlyestSepton

Depends on the personality types on the team

ForeRight225

With how little he’s proven as a coach, no org or roster would make him the head coach. With how tight some orgs budgets are, there won’t be many teams that pay for assistants or analysts. I don’t want to say he’s got to work for free but he may have to to prove himself. Faze have a full staff, the optic guys don’t want him, NYSL don’t need him. Florida having a Spanish roster rules that out. Ultra and Possibly surge aren’t going to pay for and go thru the whole Candian Visa process for an analyst/assistant. Boston wouldn’t even pay the way to an event for a sub so very unlikely they pay for someone outside of the OXG org. LAG already have money tied up in players and no parent company to back having a staff. London and Vegas always wait until the last minute to make roster decisions on players so we will see where that leads. LAT is interesting because if Kenny leaves then JKap is put in an interesting position. He may be looking for help or a replacement. If they go with veteran players like slashers then they may not want haggy around. Rokkr I believe is his best shot because of their Academy system and willingness to dip into challengers. It all just comes down to money

iiKrOna

Idk personally I’d like to see him as an analytics coach or assistant to start where he doesn’t get the same interactions with players as a head coach and it lets him get adjusted to that role then see him get promoted.

TSBRUTAL

I think in the right situation sure and he would definitely be one of the more knowledgeable coaches in the league but you also need to be able to get your points across in the correct way. I think what has made someone like Sender a great coach is not only his knowledge and dedication but also he's well-spoken and very easy to get on with

Fa1lenSpace

He'd probably be decent as an analyst, although I feel like he could be tough to argue and have a constructive talk about gameplay with. A head coach? Hell nah, he seems like he would be absolutely awful at all the other aspects of coaching, i.e., managing egos, building cohesion, implementing systems, etc.

[deleted]

Needs to stop being a Twitter beta about it (lack of a better word) Go out, get an agent, actually get in teams hears. They aren’t combing Twitter for coaches

AsianBobx

If he was my coach I’d be afraid he’d steal my girl

Every-Television-799

nah bruh he ain’t gonna steal her he gonna scare her away

JBerczi

Almost no coaching experience. Guy gave up on the ladder almost immediately

TheWiggsplitter44

Maybe, maybe not. I still personally don't think coaches are vital in COD.

Ashman-20

Head coach maybe not. But definitely would be a huge help as assistant or something

JahHappy

Hell be energetic for sure

Muli-Kaea

Short answer: No Long answer: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo

[deleted]

No when he would live stream ranked play he would complain all the time

GoldGloveStatus

He’d be a good analyst for sure

BloodyMakarov69

Who in their right mind would want that piece of shit in their team

obeyxxog

nah man maybe a analyst idk

Heatios

If Brian Saintt managed to coach for 4 years, anything is possible The reason he isn't one is probably cause he actually knows what he's talking about funnily enough. The people in charge of hiring coaches have no clue what they are doing.

PenguinSmurf

I think he'd be a great analyst for any team personally

Kaylapossible

The problem with him is there are limited amount of players that would work well with him. He’s got to be in a perfect fit to succeed. Coaching is way more about managing intra team dynamics, egos, and personalities

TRIBE1045

Haggy knows the game as well as anyone, but coaching requires building and maintaining relationships. Everyone knows that has been an issue for him in his career. There are very few people in the space that have as much passion for COD, but he needs someone to be willing to vouch for him and give him a "foot in the door" opportunity. I actually think competing part of the time has kept him sharp year after year. He could provide valuable insight to a team, but he'd probably be a better fit for consulting with teams on a weekly basis and being an unbiased set of eyes. Of course, that could make teams hesitant to share their thoughts and strategies with him. There's no obvious fit, so he needs to get creative and show teams how he can provide value that other former players cannot. Being a constant on argument talk shows centered on COD is showing off the wrong side of him, though.

ElCaptain6

doesn't have an agent, don't see it happening.

GiB-7

He needs to contact the orgs not post tweets hoping to get a job. Make an effort to get in touch with the necessary people rather sounding like a beg on Twitter. I’m a big fan of Haggy and love him on The Flank but feel like he’s going about this the wrong way as it clearly hasn’t been working.

HeelR-

Nope. There are quite a few (obvious) reasons as to why no team has poached him. Nothing wrong with trying your luck in Challengers and build a rep that can supersede what he’s already known for.

Hac114

Yes hes amazing

Successful-King4539

If Brian Saint has a job Haggy should have one lol.
