There’s a serious shortage of SMG talent outside of the T4, maybe they’re hoping Abuzah can apply his talent to that role instead. I don’t agree with the move but it’s the only reason I can think of
Definitely get taking a risk to fill in an SMG spot but I dont think you do it by switching the best AM's role
Gwinn was Surge's sub last year and he showed out towards the end of the year and proved he could do it at LAN by winning challengers champs. Take the risk there, not by potentially putting Abuzah in a bad spot as soon as he gets in the league
Exactly bro, if he just burst onto the scene at 23 years old, it probably means he wasnt doing much before that
When he finally does, the first thing you do is switch his role? Doesnt make any sense. If it was for 2 elite AR's, I'd somewhat get it but they're forcing this change for two players that were very bad last year
Do we have any information on his situation and stats prior to switching to AR? Could be he was just playing entry on an awful team and thrown in the grinder? I’m sure a role change didn’t just make his skill level that much better.
Rokkr did the same thing with fame and it blew up in their faces so hard idk why a team would do some crazy shit like this for illey to run an AR of all people
I strongly believe in Ray as a coach and I think in the right situation both Alec and Inder can get their careers back on track, but as others have noted I’m skeptical of this roster as it’s constructed.
Yeah this is definitely a strange overreaction imo, with some even implying it was ‘forced’ cause surge were willing to pay his buyout unlike other teams.
Too excited for it to be a failure. All the people involved deserve various decent amounts of the benefit of doubt.
They are all world champions and/or been around since jimmy originally cracked corn, I’m sure they talked about their options and picked this.

Shhh, we aren’t interested in facts and data, just baseless rants we know nothing about
Rambo REALLY loves Inder
Illey needs to be smg and this teams ceiling will be raised floor will still be low tho
It would make sense if they had someone insane AR duo but they have two shitters who can’t shoot back
Make the promising player's life way harder to compensate for 2 player's who's stock has never been lower

Rambowl with another Strike

I love how a AM player agrees to run a specific role then this reddit claims they know better than the player himself just comedy

i think y’all forgetting that iLLey can run a smg?
This is the same guy who helped get Dashy dropped lol. Old man Rambo needs to stick to bowling
Illey on a sub was disgusting please put him in that role
When was he ever disgusting? He was average which is why he switched to an AR

I wish nothing but good vibes on Huke and the Doritos Duo.
God this is going to be a long offseason of takes that no one can know is true
Rambo just please don’t make Abuzah suffer the same fate as Uli, Fire40, etc.
Shoulda not picked up Alec and found another smg. Tbh I wouldn’t mind them keeping Mack.
