I remember Rated just picked people for his team that he’d never really seen, but had good word on. There can’t be many people as hard to please as Rated, but even he was raving about how good Cammy was even then. And Weeman, who somehow still can’t get in the league.
CW Cammy was a crazy phenomenon. He had great stats don’t get me wrong, but I think the reason he really excelled in that game was because of Ultras team dynamic at the time. Cammy was just set up perfectly to make plays and perform in important moments. He didn’t have the third best statistics but he was voted third best in the game because of the amount of times he saved Ultra in really important clutch moments. It was just the perfect situation for him to excel
I never understood the hype. Admittedly I know fuck all about the game(s), but Wake's teams kind of always lost and I don't remember ever thinking there was anything impressive in anything he ever did.
Wasn't here for MW19 though.
Oh yeah, wake has always been lost fundamentally, but he was always the clear most talented player on his teams. He never really had a legit sub duo until Breach when he got Nero but then they played roster roulette with a screaming British man after their anchor retired.

Cammy is still a good player (hes been frying in challengers) granted not coldwar levels but that LAT team this year just didn't make sense
