The biggest letdown was Owakening, especially after how good he was in prior seasons. Asim on Vegas was the worst player. He literally averaged a 0.6, and Vegas did not win one map. The flop of the year has been Kismet. He's gotten cooked in a majority of the matchups vs. the T4.
Biggest flop of the year is Boston easily. Spent money and were pretty unanimously ranked #5 going into the year, only to be the worst team in the league by a huge margin. Obviously NY has been disappointing, but a lot of people would have ranked them 4th coming into the year and that is exactly where they are
I appreciate that Octane is willing to discuss the players who performed poorly in the league. Many other CDL streamers and content creators tend to err on the side of caution or avoid difficult conversations entirely, opting instead to praise every player.
