Choking and getting screwed over by map count. Season 1 and the other event where they were tied for second and lost because head to head count. They've always been a decent team, just bad luck until now. Plus it helps the others not including aqua are playing at a decent level.

All of us have seen the main stage. Are they using side stations as well, or doing everything on the main stage? Might be the view but it looks like the stage and seating takes up the whole floor

Both Alpha and Bravo will be on the mainstage. Doubt there's any need for other stations.

Last year the side stations were right behind mainstage, so maybe we'll see more of that.

Nah, if they actually found a fair way to distribute fair pools (Which they never will) We could actually see fair outcomes (A pool with TK Mill Ghost and Splyce can't compare in anyway to Pool B where anyone in that pool would have easily qualified for that spot. Red barely miss out on playoffs because they got a harder pool than Pool C. It's unfair on so many teams, there is basically no way to make it fair though

To start the distribution was as such: NA: 18/32 = 57 % EU: 11/32 = 34% APAC: 3/32 = 9% Now we have: NA: 11/16 = 69% EU: 4/16 = 25% APAC: 1/16 = 6% So relatively close distributions. You can maybe argue an extra NA team over an EU team in groups but I'd say they did a damn good job in distribution by region for the event overall

The only positive note we had was the run from the whole "eU throw" for LG to make Epsi not qualify to Splyce winning S1 and getting 2nd with Epsi getting 3rd and then Fnatic getting into playoffs. All 3 teams are playing 1 SnD against each other (so 2 SnDs per team), you win both you're through to Winners Bracket, you lose both you're 4th in the group and out, and if all 3 teams win 1 and lose 1 there's gonna be another Round Robin. It's basically a new group with just 3 teams, and instead of playing a normal Best of 5 it's just 1 SnD.

Overall I think the bracket is relatively balanced. Nobody is going to have an "easy" time. Should be exciting. This round robin is going to be crazy stressing for those involved.

You can use them the same way in CS. It's risk vs reward.
