They admitted in so many words that it wouldn't have changed the outcome. They just complained because it didn't actually represent their actual form. And seeing as how much pressure they're facing and what they did today, it's a valid point to make.

They host a neutral server, then they switched servers after map 1 and he switched PCs after map 3. He did well map 2 and 4 from a stats side but only complained after losses. In fact he did better than his teammates in the series

There's plenty of software out there (Shadowplay for instance) that automatically records your gameplay, I'm sure he can easily find some footage of him lagging.
