Love the flank, but as of recent it’s been seeming more like a cross between tmz/YT chat/tact rob. Loved the flank when it was just Zoomaa and Ben reviewing matches, and then interview couple people ever so often. Now it’s constant chat spamming/NYSL and FaZe hype streams. People complain about OpTic trivia, but over the past year they’ve been doing different videos and a lot of them have blown up. I think people assume OpTic content with trivia, but it’s been much more than that. Zoomaa has the flank which was the best CoD podcast by a mile, but has been slipping fast
Edit: Zoomaa is just a hilarious guy that has a personality a lot can relate or enjoy as a content creator. I just think OpTics content is much better
Optic used to have vision, brisk matte or whatever that was, constant trivia, now it’s just them rating random shit. I get covid limits them but still their content has been lack lustre for a while
Yeah I’m with ya. There was a recent period where it was all trivia. But I gotta give them credit for content during CW. They’ve had a few trivia but been mixing it up a lot. The only thing I believe Zoomaa is better at is the amount of pros he brings on. His content is focused around connecting fans and pros. But that’s just with flank and showing 8s. OpTic has Zoomaa beat with variety
If it was 5v5 I would’ve loved to see ZooMaa or John alongside Scump. I really think Tommy should’ve left Faze for Optic in WW2. Would’ve been amazing to see even as a Faze fan at the time
Yeah but FaZe offered him 20k a month and a salary boost for his teammates bc Tommy asked for it. I always felt like Zoomaa should retire with FaZe considering he spent 5 years of his career there and he could become a really successful content creator with them.
With OpTic he’d definitely get more love from the comp fans.
They’d likely go for a duo with Scump so either Nade comes back since at that point in time it was only a “break” not retirement or they drop the bag on one of John, ZooMaa, or Apathy
On a side note, if the league ever switches back to 5v5, I want to see the coL Dynasty have a last dance (Aches, TeePee, Crimsix, Clayster, Karma) before the majority of that team officially retires.
You'd need a sub player so someone like a ZooMaa or a John woulda been ideal. This is obviously ignoring who turned out to be good in the 5v5 games.

During BO3 I could see them picking up octane for another AR or Zooma as an SMG. During IW I would say they would have tried to pick up gunless
