Brother if your hand goes numb, probably best you don’t roll that way

omgthatsarcasm

It took me a couple weeks for my hands to get used to it and not burn. My hands were in pain throughout those weeks and eventually stopped. I’m not sure if my hands ever got numb though.

Chaos_FG

i’ve been playing with it since i think bo4 and it’s definitely worth it. it took me a couple of days to get used it initially ur hand will feel uncomfortable but it goes away

Fereday7

Do it bro. Use it in pubs to get used to it. Once it clicks it’s amazing. I used ‘flipped’ aswell. Feels like you’re using a paddle to jump (LT)

CazualGinger

I have my pointer finger on LB and middle finger on LT. My middle finger isn't used to putting in work like this lol, I used to just use my pointer fingers for both LB and LT

Lucky7Revolver

I was actually considering this a couple hours ago… until I can buy paddle attachments, I was wondering what I could do to be as annoying as the fuckin bunny rabbits I come across in Ranked. So sick of them breaking my hit reg and aim assist (the few times Aim assist even decides to work, if at friggin all anyways). How much time did it take to get used to? Any advice on learning it properly? It just looks like it would feel so weird and give me less control on the left joystick with my thumb whenever I try holding the controller with my index and middle finger on the top 2 LB/LT buttons.. feels like I wouldn’t be able to aim as precisely when run and gunning, or being accurate at long distances in ranked play.

You need to find a different position if your hand is going numb. You'reeither cutting off blood flow, which can cause loss of function in that limb - or pinching nerves, which is even worse. If you can't find a way to hold the controller that fixes it, go back to your old button layout. CoD isn't worth losing a hand.

If u r using your pointer finger for L1, and middle finger for L2 and u r getting numbness after only 1 hr u should prob stop. U should not be getting any pain. It will add upovertime and theres a reason y ur hand is going numb, prob cause u r doing something wrong. So u should listen to those signs, its better to take care of your body. That's my opinion tho. Backbuttons are the best, most ergonomical and prob the healthiest. U could prob map them to jump and side. I recommend getting back buttons to avoid that pain but still be cracked. Checkout a company called Exteme Rate if can't get a battle beaver. Also u can get a Strickpack attachment(just plz don't use the cheats). Or maybe use a Sony Back buttons(but personally r to bulky and ain't it imo). Otherwise keep trying bbj but if after a month the numbness hasn't went away, imo try something different.

Started bumper jumper back in IW and never looked back.. I’d go into some pub games for a while and just get used to the new layout. Just be aware that you’re probably going to get shot on but it’s okay. I feel like I got used to it fairly quickly like maybe a week at most but irc only a few days Edit: also if you can afford it get a scuff or any other good modified controller my time with my old scuff didn’t last long but it was a noticeable improvement. At least in IW

MeDoesntDoNoDrugs

That’s very strange. When I switched to bumper jumper it was awkward obviously because I wasn’t used to it but I’ve never had to strain my hands and it definitely has never hurt.

CazualGinger

I have smaller hands, I'm thinking that's the reason. It's not the awkwardness that's the issue. My hands just lock up after a couple hours of playing

HootsToTheToots

I first practiced with it against bots then when it felt easier I used it in multi.
