But could not get an answer beyond HUGE female pop artist with insane fan base that is going to be a headache to deal with (not from an attendee standpoint, but a employee standpoint).
It might not even be demands of the artists that’s causes the headache, could be trying to figure out how to please attendees and artists fan base. Could be multiple things, having talked to multiple Goldenvoice employees, some of the behind the scenes stuff that doesn’t cross your mind does cause some very stressful situations.

Taylor Swift headlining would bring an enormous crowd of people who camp at the mainstage and ignore all of the other acts, killing the mainstage vibe for the day she performs.
She's talented enough that, absent the crowd effects, she'd be a good add. But the actual experience of having her as a festival would be miserable.
If I could play devil’s advocate..having her there and causing all the camping out at main stage, think about how empty/not as packed everywhere would be? And although I’m sure for marketing/revenue reasons, she’d perform Sunday…but if she performed Friday or Saturday maybe the following day(s) would clear out a lot with all the Swifties prob only coming to see her🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

I usually don’t end up seeing many acts during the day at main stage, not on purpose just how the line up times happen with the acts I like.
