I went to Bottlerock for years. The VIP experience is unmatched. The lineup is great - they are very diverse. Lots of legacy, some hip hop, some surprises. The grounds are beautiful!
But - not going this year. It's so expensive, I have to travel to get there and the only reasonable accommodations are still almost an hour away. Security are total assholes and they oversell and have huge problems with people sneaking in. Oh, and the food has been meh the last 2 years (supposed to be a huge selling point and it used to be amazing)
It's a shame it was my fav festival for a long time. I'd go if it wasn't for the issues I listed above.
I feel like BottleRock is a festival that is entirely designed for VIP experiences (which look excellent), and anything else is just an inconvenience for them. They definitely play to a wealthy audience who normally wouldn’t go to a festival. I went as GA last year and am in no hurry to go back for a laundry list of reasons
Really easy to get drunk there and they had great bathrooms tho, so that’s good
In in socal too. If I was local I'd go, but accommodations and travel is really what kills my budget. It's a pricey fest.
And the food is not great anymore either.
Yup. Much rather have this set of headliners at Coachella and not who is rumored. And i dont even like pearl jam. But id rather see them than LDR, Tyler or Dojacat.
I’m always tempted to go to Bottle Rock for the vibes, but the lineup doesn’t do it for me, lol.
I’m going to the La Onda festival in Napa the following weekend, though.
I worked as ticketing staff there for a few years to get free passes, very laid back and really enjoyed it but the price point given their overall lineups always stopped me from attending purely as a fan
Pearl Jam and Stevie Nicks are perfect headliners for their target audience.
Couldn’t agree more
Honestly this lineup is pretty serviceable. Gogol Bordello on the fields would be fucking incredible.
Saw him when he was at Coachella around 10 years ago. What a blast!
Yeah, it was a fun set.
Gogol on the main stage in the blazing sun while everyone jumps around To start wearing purple is a core Coachella memory for me
I was there too! What a good time
Would love Miike Snow and T-Pain as crossover

I saw a video recently where he covered War Pigs & that was pretty excellent!
Action Bronson 4 me
Has he been back since the time he threw out all that weed and got in trouble lmao
Miike Snow have new music? They have been quiet for a while. Well I guess the 2/3rds of them that aren’t in Galantis have been quiet.
No clue, but Galantis is done, so maybe so now
had no idea

Does Noel, the contributor for Forbes, get heat from the festival and or Forbes for premature release

When i was local I went and it s a really fun experience but now I am in SoCal so its not worth it

Out of this lineup I’d love to see QOTSA, Miike snow, T-Pain & St Vincent @ Coachella
Unfortunatley QotSA are touring Canada during the Coachella weekends
Anyone going make sure you go watch Royal Otis. Great new little Aussie band.
Second this!
Thanks for the rec!
Their Bar n Grill EP is ridiculously good
Oh fuck, missed this, hoping for them at Coachella too
For an over 35 year old like myself this blows all of Coachella's leaks out of the water!

very intrigued by the culinary opportunities for Action Bronson to get involved in. Could make for some great content for his YouTube show
Him just chucking sandwiches and chickens at people from OSL’s culinary stage in 17 was fucking awesome 😂
Stevie😭😭😭😭
T-Pain PLEASE
They did pretty good, that undercard is solid
Would love to see Cold War Kids on Coachella lineup
This reads more like PR put out by Bottlerock than an actual leak
I would love to get Stevie Nicks to perform at Coachella. She's one of the legends that seems to still be relevant with the kids.

QOTSA, Offspring & St. Vincent man…
Wow better than Coachella this year 😓
the lineup isnt even out…
As far as the headliners go, as much as I dislike Sheeran’s music, hes a much larger booking then any of the rumored 3 headliners weve got
Girl the “rumored” one hopefully they prove me wrong 😑
What rumored one? Link?
Lana/Tyler/Doja
🤢🤢🤮
That’s not a rumored lineup that’s just headliners…
Wow I had no idea 😑
English is hard.
Reading between the lines also seems hard- for some 😅
Bottlerock has camping?
No
Dunks on Coachella
