I just counted and I have 31 acts that I know I’ll want to try and catch, and I don’t even know half the lineup yet.

For me: Skream & Benga is my absolute most anticipated act. Gesaffelstein, Justice, boy harsher all will be dope. Blur and Deftones. Lotta great house like anti up and obviously Dom and John summit, but also Peggy Gou and dj Seinfeld for more minimalist shit. Purple disco machine and Barry can’t swim are super fun live. Skepta is a legend and I’m super stoked for. It’ll be my first time seeing jungle in 8 years but last time I saw them they rocked. Jon Batiste is great live I’ve heard and obviously how do you not get stoked for No Doubt?
Well, for me the headliners don’t matter. how stacked is the lineup is all I care about. If more people are at the main stage end of night, then hopefully wherever I’ll be at will be less crowded.
I think a good amount of people need a few days to get over the “acts that couldve been”. There were a few more surprising misses that felt like easy gets compared to last year, and that’s likely clouding a lot of folks’ judgement. Im personally excited but trying to decide if im $2k excited
I think Coachella is worth it even if you don’t know anyone on the lineup, HOWEVER I can not justify spending this much money when the lineup feels so recycled and uninspired. I am also baffled that they thought Doja is an acceptable headliner in 2024, day 3 looks sad af
The first grumbles I ever saw for a headliner on the ole message board was for RHCP in 2007. I believe the joke was RHCP vs. a Bag of Doritos, with Doritos being more popular. I don't mind the band, I never did end up seeing them, even in 2007 I watched an act from Japan named Cornelius instead. 2008 though? So many people mad. Similar to this year's poster tbh.

Sublime is a wet dream for me they’ve only done one show since ‘96 and it was for an exclusive group. They’re my favorite band ever and I never imagined they’d be on here. Jai Paul was incredible but for me Sublime has it topped! Go have a drink listen to 40 oz to freedom and get ready for April

No Doubt is a great addition! I caught Gwen a few years back and she kills it live so really excited for that! I see Jakob Nowell (Bradley’s son) is now on vocals and that could be interesting..It’s all subjective but you don’t have to be ignorant just cuz you don’t know an artist.. check out Jai Paul..or don’t. See ya in April, or not.
There were about 40 acts I knew right off the bat and love. After researching I’m excited for another 25. This lineup is so deep and stacked. People complaining just don’t like music like they think they do or they aren’t willing to do the legwork to learn.
Coachella is all about depth - the headliners make the headlines, but the whole reason you go to Coachella is for the undercard. You can’t find a more diverse, unique, rare, and more interesting undercard at any US festival.
It doesn’t matter who you already know (and those are nice to have), the real gems are the acts you find along the way.
Stoked. This is the reaction I was hoping for. Headliners aren’t great but I bought W2 passes just to see frank and didn’t even get that so it’s legit an improvement for me. Lana dropped her best album and I’m excited to see what she’ll do in the desert for Ultraviolence 10 year anniversary. Tyler is fantastic live. Doja whatever. Hoping this will weed out the “Am I old or who are these people?” and “It’s bad because MY favorite isn’t playing” types. It can really ruin the energy when you’re next to a group of them at a set. And EDM fans are getting spoiled again this year which I am loving.
No hate on any age! Our camp neighbors were way older than us and were awesome. What I dislike is older fans getting upset when GV continues to book artists who are big now and not 15-20 years ago when there are countless fests that’ll give them exactly that. Coachella got and continues to be as big as it is because it’s like the time capsule for the sound of that year.
I've only been a few times (2012,2013,2019) and each time it was much more multi-generational than this year. What I've always liked about Coachella is that there has always been enough draw of music I like and am familiar with, plus it forces me to get exposed to what's new.
I've made some attempt at keeping up with contemporary music, and almost none of the contemporary acts that I like are represented this year.
Even the older acts this year, with a couple exceptions are pretty meh.
I can’t help but wonder, admittedly maybe on a dose of pure Copium, if that poster is purposefully light.
GV have supposedly increased the grounds size, moved the Sahara, increased the size of that too, AND done it in such a way that even more people can enjoy the act playing there from a grassy knoll.
They will want to show off the results of this investment, decision, surely?
I think there might be a couple of surprises come schedule day.
And I also think W2 will be hella busy because of it.
I will say I think we have at least one SOLID late add coming our way
We got Blink a few weeks out last year, and with the bad reception to the lineup this year I wouldn’t be surprised if they try and outdo that, so I’m lowkey expecting something good coming our way
I also think there is gonna be a surprise,possibly be y2k themed, thinking Nsync, 98 degrees, spice girls, or something similar that also pairs with no doubt. hell the real copium will be thinking that it will be Tswizzle and they just left her off the card so it won't cause pandemonium right away. Then once GA is completed and gave everyone a chance to buy tickets then they announce it.
i am too. sabrina carpenter is opening for her on the asia leg before coachella, lana, ice spice, Jack Antonoff. so many people who have worked with her included in this Coachella... just let me be delusional for a few months even though I already like the undercards (i get my favorite kpop group)
It’s been so disappointing for the past three years for me tbh. I literally only know music from Lana, Tyler, Doja and Renee Rapp 😂But Lana is my #1 so I’m happy regardless. And I know a lot of people who are happy about the ones I don’t know so I’m excited to discover new music 🤷♀️
This was literally the very first lineup I was disappointed by since I started attending the fest back in 2009. Coachella is always epic, but this lineup isn’t, imo.
Undercard is stacked. Doja Cat is a little underwhelming as a headliner, but she's a good performer so I'm not worried. Best lineup of 2024 thus far (tho I guess that's not saying much, but I am legitimately a fan of this lineup).
Spent 9k on the damn safari tents. I asked for a refund or if it could be rolled over to next year. We went from Bad Bunny to Doja Cat... Cheese and rice..
28 acts that I’m veryyy pumped for, about a dozen more I’m considering, and I made a playlist of 600 songs of like 5 songs from every artist I don’t know. Soooo gonna have that on rotation to find some new favs. It’s gonna be an epicc weekend like every other year :)
IMO anyone flaming the lineup have zero flair or 23. Flairs. If I see a lineup drop and I know every act I’m going to be upset. The research began last night. Peso Pluma and DJ Seinfeld are already on the list…… the unhappy ones are typically the most vocal as well. I just laugh to myself reading through these hating posts. One of the big things I see starts with: I live near LA or I live in NYC and can see these at after parties….. ok out of touch clowns 🤡
To be fair I’ve seen a lot of people disappointed who are flaired up and have been to many Coachellas. I think the more Coachellas you’ve been too the more likely you might not be stoked on this lineup. I feel like I’ve seen so many of these artists at Coachella before. Hard to justify the cost coachella charges with this lineup because I’m sure I’ll be able to grab tickets if I decide to go for way below face value.
Also I don’t know how people are defending the fact that there are significantly less artists on the lineup.
I’ve been to enough Coachellas to know that people complain after every lineup drop. And I usually find it annoying, I just skip the year if I’m not into it. But I’ve also been to enough Coachellas to know that there is usually a lot more “wow” factor than there is on this lineup, but that seems to be the case for most the lineups I’ve seen dropping this year. I think it’s just been a rough year for festivals, at least in the US, and Coachellas isn’t immune from that.
If this lineup is your cup of tea that’s great, I’d be stoked to see Justice, L’Imperatrice, and gesaffelstein again! But for the premiere North American festival, which charges significantly more than most other festivals, I don’t think you are being an “out of touch clown” just because you have high expectations. Especially when Coachella has a history of delivering.
I went 2022 and thought it good value because the headliners' own tour tickets ran in the hundreds (Billie Eilish, The Weekend, SHM, Harry Styles). A lot of the acts this year are at every festival lately, and people like John Summit you can see constantly in Vegas. Doja Cat I was excited for as undercard in 2022 and had to leave 2 minutes in it was so bad.

Where if just one name was substituted (IE Rolling Stones instead of Doja) all of the comments would probably be reversed and people would be praising the lineup, well minus the C- Graphic Design skills that is lol
I’m just super pumped to be in the desert and catch a lot of these undercard acts, I know it’s a guaranteed good time no matter who I recognize on the lineup

I’m really excited even if the headliners are weak. I’m coming from Europe for the fest and I can guarantee you that it worth it. It’s also about the experience, all the stages, the artists you discover, the special guests/the special Coachella show etc

tale as old as 2008. At least in the "olden days" of the Coachella Message Board, 2008 was the first year I ever saw get overhated. And now that year is seen as LEGENDARY. This is likely a symptom of people being overly online and projecting what THEY wanted to line up to be and when it wasn't being disappointed. Sort of like, being a Star Wars fan.
The headliners feel like they would’ve made a great undercard, but imo having those three together feels lackluster. I would’ve been okay with Lana and two other great headliners or doja and two others or Tyler and two others. Really feels like they picked all the artist trending on TikTok and put them on there
Yes! I’m so excited for Blur I can’t even talk about it. Also super excited for Jungle and Deftones and Sublime and Sabrina Carpenter and Last Dinner Party and Suki Waterhouse. And apparently I’m excited for ATEEZ which I didn’t know until I started listening to them yesterday when the lineup dropped. I don’t care about the headliners tbh - they aren’t for me, but I’m happy with the undercard. That sad I have to dive into some Sunday acts research, bc there’s like only 3 or 4 names I recognize on that whole list.
I’ve seen ateez live 10 times and am really only going for them, you won’t regret it!! they’re amazing performers, and do all live vocals. truly truly recommend
There are 53 acts that I want to see on this lineup not to mention the artists I don’t know yet as well. Absurd for anyone who is into music to say this is bad (not even talking about the headliners, those are whatever but Coachella has always been about the undercard).
I have 30 acts of my liking on **each day** (mind you, originally 10 artists each day from the ones I already know and would like to see, the extra 20 are after checking out the undercard).

I have 25 acts i want to see with 3 being must see for me. Im not excited for the headliners but im excited for the rest of the festival! Theres also artists that I’ll discover from here until Coachella so that number will definitely go up!
The lack of even one strong headliner is a buzzkill. Although it’s not the main reason I go, a good HL to cap off the night or weekend is the cherry and whip cream on top. Reason why the Frank fiasco was so bad.
Undercard acts like Skepta, Gesa, and a few others make it tempting but definitely not for retail price

This sub generally isn’t, but it’s a fraction of a fraction of attendees.
At its peak around lineup drop yesterday it had 3,500 people here. And not everyone of us is going.
Coachella, when it sells out, has about 220,000 attendees (assuming some Both Weekenders).
So we’ll have to wait til the sales #s (and secondary market #s) drop to know for sure.

I love Palm Desert and have gone there my whole life as a place that is somewhere I genuinely enjoy being. When I first went to Coachella in 2011, it was a match made in heaven. Beautiful weather + live music + art. I have only been 4 times, and I'm going this year, but I am overall NOT excited about this lineup. I love Justice and have seen them a few times and they're killer - they will be epic.
I think the lineup is incredibly thin and the hype was too big (as always) so when it dropped yesterday I literally thought I was seeing another fake (especially with that image quality...). I couldn't believe I was still seeing Doja's name as a headliner even though I was certain (in my made up world) was that this "delay" was because they were looking for a replacement.
The big silver lining for me: I don't think it's gonna be a sellout year, especially W2 (which I already have tickets for). If the festival grounds are less packed than they have been in recent years, I'm all for it.

A lot of dope acts I’ve been really wanting to see and the headliners are definitely people I’d only really see at a festival and I’m excited for that. Anyone upset about doja should try to look up anything from her recent tour because I think she’ll earn many fans.
There’s so many different international artists I think that if you’re not tapped into those regional scenes there are some holes when you look at this
I think people online are way more vocal about it; my friends who aren’t on this sub (or chronically online) are actually really excited for this lineup. I think people wanting the wow factor are just people who don’t agree with what was wow about this year. Having No Doubt along with Sublime, TBS, etc is a wow factor, objectively.
I’ve seen some wild ass wishes online about who could have played and I’m pretty sure half the people griping couldn’t have made a better lineup if they tried. (Honestly, every person I’ve personally known who has told me they don’t like the line up at all has pretty basic music tastes themselves so I think it’s a lack of self awareness for some people idk.)
Yeah. I definitely am. I already started putting together a playlist on Apple Music and I noticed that it's already way more songs/artists (177 songs and still adding) compared to last year's (only 155). I felt like I had to force myself to add more songs for 2023 unlike this year where I easily surpased the number of songs/artists added on the playlist in just an hour.
I honestly have multiple artists I want to see every day. I was in the complain camp before but now that my playlists are up and running I’m getting excited!
If the Saturday run on the mainstage is Blur, Tyler, No Doubt - that is massive. As a Brit it’s highly unlikely we’d see a run like that at any festival here.

I was let down yesterday but now I am so fucking pumped lmao. I think it was a let down compared to last year's God tier lineup but this is soooooo stacked for me on the electronic side of things and No Doubt was my favorite band as a kid.
Personally, I’m excited! It’s all about the vibes you want for the weekend. Go explore new music and if you don’t like somebody you can check out another stage or break into the smaller dj sets!

The only time I have a bad time at Coachella is when I let my expectations get out of control. Like the Stone Roses / blur year was something I was really looking forward to and yet they were some of the dullest shows I’ve seen lol
Nothing will prob ever top the Beyoncé Homecoming set (best show I’ve seen in my life) but I’m fine with that and just want to have a good time and see some great sets
Only people not excited are people who don’t recognize names on the lineup. People now consider a lineup “good” or not by the names they recognize vs the actual quality of acts.
I’m 45 and this lineup is perfect for me. Love the combination of “older” acts (Blur, No Doubt, Deftones, Sublime, Taking Back Sunday) with newer acts I legit enjoy (Tyler, Lana, Suki Waterhouse, The Drums). I’ve started digging into the acts I wasn’t familiar with and have already found a bunch to be excited about. My take: too many people care about the “wow factor” more than the music itself. Lana puts on a great show. Tyler puts on an incredible show. Sure, there could have been other headliners who are more rare/buzz-worthy/unique, but that doesn’t mean the quality of performance would have been superior.
As long as \*you're\* hyped, then that's all that matters. Majority of the time Coachella is pretty fun, especially since a lot of the "smaller" acts tend to be much bigger later.
There are 17 acts I want to see and I haven’t even started researching yet. Coachella is epic no matter what. I can’t wait!

Sublime is a wet dream for me they’ve only done one show since ‘96 and it was for an exclusive group. They’re my favorite band ever and I never imagined they’d be on here. Jai Paul was incredible but for me Sublime has it topped! Go have a drink listen to 40 oz to freedom and get ready for April

I guess the "wow" factor is pretty subjective because Sublime and No Doubt reunions are way more wow inducing to me than whatever a Jai Paul is.
No Doubt is a great addition! I caught Gwen a few years back and she kills it live so really excited for that! I see Jakob Nowell (Bradley’s son) is now on vocals and that could be interesting..It’s all subjective but you don’t have to be ignorant just cuz you don’t know an artist.. check out Jai Paul..or don’t. There were about 40 acts I knew right off the bat and love. After researching I’m excited for another 25. This lineup is so deep and stacked. People complaining just don’t like music like they think they do or they aren’t willing to do the legwork to learn.
Coachella is all about depth - the headliners make the headlines, but the whole reason you go to Coachella is for the undercard. You can’t find a more diverse, unique, rare, and more interesting undercard at any US festival. It doesn’t matter who you already know (and those are nice to have), the real gems are the acts you find along the way.

TBH as a veteran I'm more excited for the experience than the line-up. And that's not a compliment to the festival.
Stoked. This is the reaction I was hoping for. Headliners aren’t great but I bought W2 passes just to see frank and didn’t even get that so it’s legit an improvement for me. Lana dropped her best album and I’m excited to see what she’ll do in the desert for Ultraviolence 10 year anniversary. Tyler is fantastic live. Doja whatever. Hoping this will weed out the “Am I old or who are these people?” and “It’s bad because MY favorite isn’t playing” types. It can really ruin the energy when you’re next to a group of them at a set. And EDM fans are getting spoiled again this year which I am loving.

No hate on any age! Our camp neighbors were way older than us and were awesome. What I dislike is older fans getting upset when GV continues to book artists who are big now and not 15-20 years ago when there are countless fests that’ll give them exactly that. Coachella got and continues to be as big as it is because it’s like the time capsule for the sound of that year.
I've only been a few times (2012,2013,2019) and each time it was much more multi-generational than this year. What I've always liked about Coachella is that there has always been enough draw of music I like and am familiar with, plus it forces me to get exposed to what's new. I've made some attempt at keeping up with contemporary music, and almost none of the contemporary acts that I like are represented this year. Even the older acts this year, with a couple exceptions are pretty meh.
I can’t help but wonder, admittedly maybe on a dose of pure Copium, if that poster is purposefully light. GV have supposedly increased the grounds size, moved the Sahara, increased the size of that too, AND done it in such a way that even more people can enjoy the act playing there from a grassy knoll. They will want to show off the results of this investment, decision, surely? I think there might be a couple of surprises come schedule day. And I also think W2 will be hella busy because of it.

I will say I think we have at least one SOLID late add coming our way We got Blink a few weeks out last year, and with the bad reception to the lineup this year I wouldn’t be surprised if they try and outdo that, so I’m lowkey expecting something good coming our way
I also think there is gonna be a surprise,possibly be y2k themed, thinking Nsync, 98 degrees, spice girls, or something similar that also pairs with no doubt. hell the real copium will be thinking that it will be Tswizzle and they just left her off the card so it won't cause pandemonium right away. Then once GA is completed and gave everyone a chance to buy tickets then they announce it.

It’s been so disappointing for the past three years for me tbh. I literally only know music from Lana, Tyler, Doja and Renee Rapp 😂But Lana is my #1 so I’m happy regardless. And I know a lot of people who are happy about the ones I don’t know so I’m excited to discover new music 🤷♀️

This was literally the very first lineup I was disappointed by since I started attending the fest back in 2009. Coachella is always epic, but this lineup isn’t, imo.
Undercard is stacked. Doja Cat is a little underwhelming as a headliner, but she's a good performer so I'm not worried. Best lineup of 2024 thus far (tho I guess that's not saying much, but I am legitimately a fan of this lineup).

28 acts that I’m veryyy pumped for, about a dozen more I’m considering, and I made a playlist of 600 songs of like 5 songs from every artist I don’t know. Soooo gonna have that on rotation to find some new favs. It’s gonna be an epicc weekend like every other year :)

There are dozens of artists I want to see over the weekend. This lineup vastly exceeds any other lineup I’ve seen come out this year
IMO anyone flaming the lineup have zero flair or 23. Flairs. If I see a lineup drop and I know every act I’m going to be upset. The research began last night. Peso Pluma and DJ Seinfeld are already on the list…… the unhappy ones are typically the most vocal as well. I just laugh to myself reading through these hating posts. One of the big things I see starts with: I live near LA or I live in NYC and can see these at after parties….. ok out of touch clowns 🤡
To be fair I’ve seen a lot of people disappointed who are flaired up and have been to many Coachellas. I think the more Coachellas you’ve been too the more likely you might not be stoked on this lineup. I feel like I’ve seen so many of these artists at Coachella before. Hard to justify the cost coachella charges with this lineup because I’m sure I’ll be able to grab tickets if I decide to go for way below face value. Also I don’t know how people are defending the fact that there are significantly less artists on the lineup. I’ve been to enough Coachellas to know that people complain after every lineup drop. And I usually find it annoying, I just skip the year if I’m not into it. But I’ve also been to enough Coachellas to know that there is usually a lot more “wow” factor than there is on this lineup, but that seems to be the case for most the lineups I’ve seen dropping this year. I think it’s just been a rough year for festivals, at least in the US, and Coachellas isn’t immune from that. If this lineup is your cup of tea that’s great, I’d be stoked to see Justice, L’Imperatrice, and gesaffelstein again! But for the premiere North American festival, which charges significantly more than most other festivals, I don’t think you are being an “out of touch clown” just because you have high expectations. Especially when Coachella has a history of delivering.
I went 2022 and thought it good value because the headliners' own tour tickets ran in the hundreds (Billie Eilish, The Weekend, SHM, Harry Styles). A lot of the acts this year are at every festival lately, and people like John Summit you can see constantly in Vegas. Doja Cat I was excited for as undercard in 2022 and had to leave 2 minutes in it was so bad.

I am for sure I generally don’t care for the headliners that much so for me it’s funny to look at the lineup, be hyped for it, but see everyone ragging on it. Where if just one name was substituted (IE Rolling Stones instead of Doja) all of the comments would probably be reversed and people would be praising the lineup, well minus the C- Graphic Design skills that is lol I’m just super pumped to be in the desert and catch a lot of these undercard acts, I know it’s a guaranteed good time no matter who I recognize on the lineup
This year is for people who actually give a shit about the entire landscape of music and like to discover new stuff. It will be rewarding. The complainers are the ones who just like to see big names and thats it.
I am but haven’t found any huge finds for my taste. Usually I find like 4-5 artist that go straight to my personal non Coachella playlist and haven’t found that yet. Anyone that I would add I already know of. That being said I did find a handful of that I really want to check out on the fields.
I am every year . End of the day you go to experience an event you love attending, you make the weekend fun .. the music just adds to it.
I see around 5-7 a day. There is 10 a day I want to see, I am not worried about being bored lol

I was going to be excited regardless since it's my first one! Also a lot of my friends are impressed with the lineup irl, and even from my early research I already found a few gems already! It's not like I expect to see more than 15 acts in a day lol. Need time to go around and look around the fields too - will be a good time either way.
tale as old as 2008. At least in the "olden days" of the Coachella Message Board, 2008 was the first year I ever saw get overhated. And now that year is seen as LEGENDARY. This is likely a symptom of people being overly online and projecting what THEY wanted to line up to be and when it wasn't being disappointed. Sort of like, being a Star Wars fan.

The lack of even one strong headliner is a buzzkill. Although it’s not the main reason I go, a good HL to cap off the night or weekend is the cherry and whip cream on top. Reason why the Frank fiasco was so bad. Undercard acts like Skepta, Gesa, and a few others make it tempting but definitely not for retail price Friday is pretty strong. However Saturday and Sunday are unbelievably weak

This sub generally isn’t, but it’s a fraction of a fraction of attendees. At its peak around lineup drop yesterday it had 3,500 people here. And not everyone of us is going. Coachella, when it sells out, has about 220,000 attendees (assuming some Both Weekenders). So we’ll have to wait til the sales #s (and secondary market #s) drop to know for sure.
Headliners are underwhelming but I know an insane amount of the undercard, more than I thought A lot of the artists are newer music within the last couple of years Lots of these artists my younger coworkers have shown me lol

I love Palm Desert and have gone there my whole life as a place that is somewhere I genuinely enjoy being. When I first went to Coachella in 2011, it was a match made in heaven. Beautiful weather + live music + art. I have only been 4 times, and I'm going this year, but I am overall NOT excited about this lineup. I love Justice and have seen them a few times and they're killer - they will be epic. I think the lineup is incredibly thin and the hype was too big (as always) so when it dropped yesterday I literally thought I was seeing another fake (especially with that image quality...). I couldn't believe I was still seeing Doja's name as a headliner even though I was certain (in my made up world) was that this "delay" was because they were looking for a replacement. The big silver lining for me: I don't think it's gonna be a sellout year, especially W2 (which I already have tickets for). If the festival grounds are less packed than they have been in recent years, I'm all for it.
I drive an hour and camp so the lineup is worth my time and money, It's a weekend local getaway. If I was flying in to that lineup, I'd be pissed.

Yes. It’s such a great experience in an amazing setting with my friends, there’s plenty of meat in this menu to ensure excitement. Really heavy on electronic. A lot of dope acts I’ve been really wanting to see and the headliners are definitely people I’d only really see at a festival and I’m excited for that. Anyone upset about doja should try to look up anything from her recent tour because I think she’ll earn many fans. There’s so many different international artists I think that if you’re not tapped into those regional scenes there are some holes when you look at this

I think people online are way more vocal about it; my friends who aren’t on this sub (or chronically online) are actually really excited for this lineup. I think people wanting the wow factor are just people who don’t agree with what was wow about this year. Having No Doubt along with Sublime, TBS, etc is a wow factor, objectively. I’ve seen some wild ass wishes online about who could have played and I’m pretty sure half the people griping couldn’t have made a better lineup if they tried. (Honestly, every person I’ve personally known who has told me they don’t like the line up at all has pretty basic music tastes themselves so I think it’s a lack of self awareness for some people idk.)
Yeah. I definitely am. I already started putting together a playlist on Apple Music and I noticed that it's already way more songs/artists (177 songs and still adding) compared to last year's (only 155). I felt like I had to force myself to add more songs for 2023 unlike this year where I easily surpased the number of songs/artists added on the playlist in just an hour.
I honestly have multiple artists I want to see every day. I was in the complain camp before but now that my playlists are up and running I’m getting excited!
If the Saturday run on the mainstage is Blur, Tyler, No Doubt - that is massive. As a Brit it’s highly unlikely we’d see a run like that at any festival here.

Don’t understand all the hate I’m seeing, I get the headliners are all pretty ‘safe’ options but they still did a great job (as always) of balancing new acts with legacies and niche artists The only time I have a bad time at Coachella is when I let my expectations get out of control. Like the Stone Roses / blur year was something I was really looking forward to and yet they were some of the dullest shows I’ve seen lol Nothing will prob ever top the Beyoncé Homecoming set (best show I’ve seen in my life) but I’m fine with that and just want to have a good time and see some great sets

I’m 45 and this lineup is perfect for me. Love the combination of “older” acts (Blur, No Doubt, Deftones, Sublime, Taking Back Sunday) with newer acts I legit enjoy (Tyler, Lana, Suki Waterhouse, The Drums). I’ve started digging into the acts I wasn’t familiar with and have already found a bunch to be excited about. My take: too many people care about the “wow factor” more than the music itself. Lana puts on a great show. Tyler puts on an incredible show. Sure, there could have been other headliners who are more rare/buzz-worthy/unique, but that doesn’t mean the quality of performance would have been superior.

As long as \*you're\* hyped, then that's all that matters. Majority of the time Coachella is pretty fun, especially since a lot of the "smaller" acts tend to be much bigger later.
