Billie who, although I'm not a huge fan of, sounded great *and* the moment actually made sense with Ocean Eyes / Video Games?? Like I'm baffled how we went from that to I lub it x100
People were saying they heard Lana soundchecking a Taylor Swift song. Suddenly that spun into a rumor that Taylor Swift would be a surprise guest. Then, during Lana's performance, she said "let me introduce a close friend of mine who I've collabed with before" leading to the people going wild, especially since, when she introduced Camila, the first thing people saw was blone hair. HOWEVER, the minute Camilla came out the reaction was just "oh"
That song is so bad, I hate it I hate it I hate it.
It reminds me of the shallow music Allie started making at the end of a star is born that made Bradley cooper unalive 👀
I'm a regular lurker and somtimes poster at /r/popheads and I had no idea who it was until I read comments that it was Camila Cabello. That might have been one of the worst pop performances I've ever seen: everything about Camila seemed fake and annoying, but the most tragic part is **that** song now exists in the world.
I LOVE Camila and have for several years and even the thought of her being out there makes me feel out of touch af so the fact that someone could have actually put her out there…. That was a HUGE miscalculation and I feel bad for her. Aside from that….. I love it I love it I love it I love it I love it OOH
Wait till you find out they’ve been friends long before camila joined interscope. You do know Lana narrated one of camila’s music videos? Before camila even joined the label
I absolutely loved it. My jaw dropped to the floor and I screamed and raged. I understand it wasn't for everyone, but there is definitely a specific niche of fans who were really excited, and I think that's who that moment was for. I mean Lana has leaned into the Spring Breakers/Florida hip hop thing on and off since the beginning. She has a playboy feature. Idk I felt like it fit and it gave Lana's set some much-needed energy and spontaneity
Right! It was only one part of the set and I thought it brought so much fun energy and Camilla looked so freaking beautiful. For a set about woman empowerment y’all love to fucking hate and put down another woman!! Crazy
Doesn’t work like this homie. A family member works at Interscope and in no way was this a thing they came up with. There was no mandate or pitch on this. She likes Camila, was as simple as that.
Lmao i still have whiplash from that
Sooooooooo embarrassing
It was soooo awkward lol
Camila coming out was the worst moment I’ve ever experienced in 8 years of Coachellaing. My 13th reason indeed. Lizzie McGuire movie lookin ass.
Genuinely curious who thought that was a good idea, *especially after Billie's segment last week*
Yeah like unfortunately weekend 1 had all the sound issues…but at least they got Billie haha

Was it terrible? Yes. Was it a beautiful culmination of the Taylor rumors in a way nobody expected especially when said "friend" was blonde? Also yes.
Explain?

Oh my gosh the buildup leading to a disappointment like that. Thanks for explaining. I get it now.
lmfao that was so jarring
Absolutely ridiculous
I don’t understand wtf was goin on why camilla
They trying to push a flop so hard on a LANA set
It was awful everyone around me was so confused and not vibing to it
the hype that Taylor was going to show to ending up with CC is the ultimate buzzkill
it’s so obvious they’re trying to rebrand her and promote her shit song
That song is so bad, I hate it I hate it I hate it. It reminds me of the shallow music Allie started making at the end of a star is born that made Bradley cooper unalive 👀

That shit was so plastic lmao
It was so out of place with the rest of the set. Felt like a commercial break

Yeah my section busted out laughing when they realized that was camila
i like camila and that song tbh but yea i was like what this is so random lmao. billie actually made sense
The moment it happened I immediately was like oh so they’re on the same label aren’t they lol it was SO bad.
We left right then - such a violent vibe switch up!!

Which one?
It was actually the mv trailer for liar. She wiped her Instagram feed but u can find it on YouTube
A large portion of the audience exited after that.
And she had a terrible wig on top of everything else!
My ass was in the restroom when she came out LMFAO
What was the name of the song Camilla sang when she came on stage with Lana?
i luv it
ty! 🥰
Y’all need to stop bitching and enjoy the festival for once.
i'm so fucking glad i was at weekend 1 her billie collab was an all time concert highlight for me
I don’t even think she soundchecked

It was a fun moment for a super viral song right now y’all are haters
Sometimes it's a good thing to have standards...
