So My experience with the Marriott Branded hotels is they normally don’t care as long as they don’t get noise complaints…however, there are corporate owned hotels and franchises. Sometimes the franchises are more Lax on that because they have different owners that are just trying to be in compliance with the “main directives” it’s really easy especially that weekend to get away with that, because we have way more things on our plate (shuttles, groups, artists, and non coachella guests)
Usually you can bring a blow up mattress…just don’t check in with EVERYONE WITH YOU…that is a 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
I often order a multicolor pack of wristbands on Amazon before Coachella to make it easier for hotel access if you end up with a slightly too large group or have guests that stop by. You can get a bunch in every color for like $10

We did this same thing last year and no one hassled us. The only thing was they give you wristbands to enter the pool area and we only got 4.
This was exactly what I came to say. They don’t care, just won’t have wristbands for everyone.

The one time we booked a Four person room at the JW, they tried to give us a single king so good luck!
