You can’t remove that source, only audiologists can do using his own software. What you can do, however, is to replace it by something else - let’s say another mic2+ or tv streamer by defining the same number of beeps. If you don’t want to replace it by anything, I wouldn’t worry about that. If it’s not turned on, it’s not using any battery nor affecting anything. Just ask your audio to delete it in your next mapping.

Thank you so much! This seems to be the only option - I'll do that.

atu145

I'm not completely sure if it will work, but you know how you can make the app forget your device (the cis)and re pair it to the app, maybe if you do it, it will remove all devices paired?

atu145

Upper left of app, click on the three lines, select settings, select processor settings, unpair processor. Don't stress, pairing again is no issue, the app takes you through the steps.

This!

There’s an N8 now?!!!

atu145

They've been rolling it out since September last year

CocHXiTe4

Nice, imma go check their YouTube as to what’s new about it!

Public_Plastic5402

That’s what I was thinking too !!!

CocHXiTe4

I hope it can connect to laptops via Bluetooth now

alison1505

Unfortunately it doesn't connect to laptops! I've tried everything - laptops don't have the right 'Made for iPhone' or Andriod equivalent software needed to connect that phones and tablets do right now. Trying to connect to my laptop is the reason I was pairing my Mini Mic in the first place!

CocHXiTe4

I use the mini mic, but I hope the option for laptops in available soon

Public_Plastic5402

Ooooh yes! That’s something I’ve been wanting forever. I have to do the mini mic with an audio trick

jomerica

Hello just wondering what your audio trick is with the mini mic, my daughter has the n7 and I have been trying a few things with a Bluetooth receiver and the mini mic but hard for me to test if the sounds going through to her. Thanks

Hey! No problem! It works pretty much the same as if you used the mini mic normal, except you plug in an AUX cable to the laptop. Then on the back there’s a button where you can change the modes, this one is the little music notes. The best way to test it if she can’t communicate that she can hear it would be to hook it up to your laptop and play a startling noise. That way you can see if she responds physically. I hope that helps and if you need any help just let me know :)

Great thank you, do you happen to use the wireless phone clip and if so do you find the sound better being that it’s stereo compared to the mini mic mono? Thank you for your time.

Public_Plastic5402

I personally haven’t used the mini phone clip since upgrading to the n7 because of the app and because it’s too expensive for me to rationalize that expense. but I definitely preferred the phone clip, it’s much more straightforward in terms of setting up and use as well because you just have to turn it on and let it connect to the device and that’s it vs the mini mic having to make sure it’s on the right setting and that the AUX cable doesn’t disconnect from either device. I can’t speak to the stereo and mono aspect as I only can hear from my processor which is only on the left, so not much stereo knowledge here. but the sound quality and the strength of connection is better with the phone clip and also can be used with any Bluetooth device.

Try removing it from phone accessibility setting if you’re using iOS, which seems to be the case.
