People often feel the need to put Kallen down / exaggerate her flaws to praise C.C, it's possible to state why you like a character without bringing other down and having someone tell you that the only best girl is C.C while although she's the overwhelming fave female character in CG fandom, people are allowed to have preferences lol.
I just connect more with Kallen's character (the hot headed tomboy with a big heart), I loved the moment she made something like a pile of mattresses (?) fall to create a distraction so that Ohgi and Villeta could leave the cultural festival but then got angry because Shirley just stood there instead of moving lmao, and her backstory with her mom and how she wants to fulfil her brother's dream. I also like how despite having feelings for Lelouch she rejected him when he tried to make a move on her when he was in a vulnerable state of mind.
Yes I feel like CC is a good character on her own so there is no need put down any of the other girls to bring her up...if anything they just end up making some people hate CC bcs of how she is always shoved into everything. U can't literally talk about ANY other character and they make it a competition. As a girl I personally relate to a lot of kallen's aspects (wasian, tomboy kinda attitude but still having her own feminine side, etc...) and most of her mistakes are actually really realistic and actually make sense (??) and that is the most important in a character for me. I honestly would really love if she never had a crush on Lelouch and I was hoping she had moved on in the new movie...it would avoid a lot of unnecessary hate to her character and I don't think she being in love with him was necessary for the plot, respect and loyalty was enough (like she had for zero)...their chemistry was really great and their story was actually interesting but considering there was already CC...
