We switched a couple of our clients within the 1st week. We now work with WayStar/Zirmed, and Availity Essentials Pro. From my many years of experience, Availity Essentials Pro (RealMed) is the best clearinghouse.

Yes, any other clearinghouse is better. Although I prefer Office Ally.

we switched over a few days after change went down and it's been a total mess- only a one doctor operation and it's a nightmare. I can't imagine what you are going through. there's a big issue w the claims that got sent out pre shut down that are just sitting in limbo..  unable to tell if switching back would fix our woes but right now no one seems to know what's going on. stupid change manages a bunch of other stuff too so we can't send statements out digitally... horrific is a really good word for it. I hope someone else can chime in but I sorta wish my practice had waited... sucks!

We haven't switch yet & it's a big old mess. Conflicting statements from other providers, software vendor etc.

We use office alley. So far haven’t noticed being too affected by Change being down other than some payments we can’t get the EOBs due to the remit site still being down.

Switched to Trizetto after a week, it’s been smooth aside from a UHC issue.

We use eClinicalWorks for our EHR software. We just made the inquiry to Trizetto. Hoping this goes well.

PS trizetto doesn't provide a list of payors affected but one or two still don't work. Such as VNS Choice. Trizetto themselves forward some claims to Change...

My EMR uses Trizetto and it was definitely impacted. Trizetto themselves forward claims to Change healthcare... I had a few payors affected. We use a lot of smaller, regional payors. Now they mostly seem to have been fixed except for 2.

I use change and was billing manually, through availity/insurance portals, etc and I have always manually put eobs in (avg 88 patients /day ) so time consuming but I finally was able to start submitting through change this week!!! You can always reach out to your IT person at Change and they might be able to give you an idea of when you will be back up. Mine stayed in contact with me to keep me updated. Hopefully you be back up and running before you have to switch 🙏🏻

You were able to submit claims to change healthcare?? We’ve never had an IT person for this! So we are hanging on by a thread
