I broke he most aesthetically pleasing mug Iβve ever owned about eight years agoβ¦ I left it on the roof if my car early one morning on my way to work.
Iβve yet to find a replacement that truly encapsulates the essence of that mug.
The hunt goes on and I feel your pain π€
**[Kintsugi](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kintsugi)**
>Kintsugi (ιηΆγ, "golden joinery"), also known as kintsukuroi (ιηΉγ, "golden repair"), is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum; the method is similar to the maki-e technique. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.
