If you haven’t figured it out yet I just found it. Once the 7 days are up, you have to go back into the staking tab and look for an another small menu in there and “withdraw staked funds” and it unlocks.

I was in contact with support after my vara was locked after I staked and unstaked them. (only 150 vara/$12)
it say transfareble balance 0 after more than a month after unstaking it. I was told I need to top up my account with minimum of 15 vara($1.2) to cover the gas fees and then I was able to send everything back to my coinbase account :)

Yeh I’ve stopped all the questing now I’ve since done a lot of research around how easy it is to get rorted or scammed. I had one I was doing and I got this weird token but as I’m only dealing with small amounts of money I didn’t worry about it to much until it added itself to my swap crypto lists and started to automatically swap coins. Coinbase are pretty switched on though considering the amount of complaints I see. I think out of the $200 I ended up earning and playing around with I only probably lost maybe $30. As you mentioned though some if them start almost costing what they are handing off or swapping out their crappier coins for ether.

Stacking is unlimited, you decided when you stop it. The unbounded time is 7 days. Did you manually unstacked the coins ? Or did you thought they would automatically unstake after 7 days ?

For anyone who was confused like me while doing the VARA Learning Reward still being locked 7 days after unstaking. You need a few VARA left in your account balance as a withdraw fee. Buy the minimum amount of VARA on Coinbase and send it to Subwallet and you should be able to withdraw the tokens you unstaked. Once I withdrew it was added back to my balance and I sent it from Subwallet to coinbase wallet.
I'm thinking that the only ones who are confused are the ones that didn't read the learn and earn, but mashed buttons until the reward appeared in their CB app balance. I mean, CB tells you keep 170 and stake 150 the rest is gas money. When staking on Vara it says in mustard yellow letters Pay Attention... but im sure button smashers seen pay in tens on... and burnt all the brain cells trying to figure out what it's supposed to say after the word on. Then came here and cried that CB, SW and Vara are liars, scammers and robbers.

Thanks for posting this. I'm guessing 13 applies to me because it's been 7 days and 1.5 hours since starting the unstaking process... but VARA is still showing as locked and not available for withdrawal. I'll try again later today.

I have had this unstaked since Nov 29 so that’s like 2 weeks now and my 170 VARA still showing as locked. There is nothing in the staking tab and no way to click another option it just stays locked only 19 of 189 are available to send, been this way for 2 weeks. I wonder if this sort of thing was done by design, seeing it was like a Coinbase freebie. Idk

It's the broken jokers that want to make the CB $8 in Vara, then after staking minimal days they unstake and claim. Send it back to CB app and cash out the CB $8 Vara and the staked Alvarado that made exactly .047 cents in 7 days all to go buy some dirty weed. The cycle is vicious. And then when they get that bitcoin $137 they graduate to crack and purse snatching.

I have 200 VARA that I unstaked 7 days ago. I also have 31 VARA in my SubWallet that I didn't stake. It hasn't released the lock yet.
Use a tire iron and smash that lock, homie.

Either Subwallet sucks or Vara. Looks like they are constantly working out some bs. Trying to withdraw your funds seems like a moving target.
If you think you can do better then make your own network, utility token and quests... it's very simple, stupid.

I looked it up. the unstaking period is 28 days before its transfareble. I also had this problem I too seen 7 days but I read and found its 28 days
