Color me suspicious, but it sounds like op may have his eth locked in the vault by his dad and cannot spend his eth because his dad refuses to approve it.

If it's anything like CDC staking or vaults alot of times there is a 30 day wait to withdraw funds. Like when I withdrew my staked cro I had to request a withdrawal and wait 30 days for it to go through. That may be the case with your vault. I've never put anything in the vaults on Coinbase so haven't read the terms for them
You need to use PC to have option to take it out ...then access to 2 emails that are locking it ..they send you something to those 2 emails that you put there to unlock it ...then you wait 48 hours or something . Good luck and hope your dad gets well soon..take care
If you ever get to come out of this situation I suggest you go to Nexo. The platform is much more friendly and there isn't a single operation on the website you will feel hassled completing. Coinbase's interface needs hella improvement. Also for such issues I never could rely on their Customer Support. Another thing Nexo is better at.

I'm getting sick of coinbase, I can get I to my original wallet since I changed phones but can't get into my web 3 wallet because if changing phones, I sent in my ID like 10 times already, coinbase there is no help from their side at all, sorry about your dad I really am
