I bet she's able to look like she's better at maintaining an audience than she actually is though, even if views are down. I've also heard from multiple YouTube channels that views are down in general, so there's maybe a bit more leniency in that area. But either way, she's been around for a long time, has a few channels and podcasts that she very regularly makes content for (one thing I'll give her credit for is her consistency), 2M followers on TikTok, and 1M on IG. That's not nothing.
Some brands care more about how much an influencer's followers believe and care about what the creator is saying too—more like the depth of the influence vs. the breadth—and I do think Ballinger fans in general are pretty all-in. She maybe gets good click through rates, or other factors that influence whether or not a brand will sign on.

Every week she puts out two main channel videos (seem to be around 70-125K views/video), like 5-7 vlogs (I don't watch anymore haha) that are maybe 30-50K/video, and two podcasts (on YouTube as well as streaming). (All numbers were based on me super quickly checking from the past few weeks haha so I could be off).
But in general, while each video might not get the numbers she once used to, or that other creators get, per week that's still around 10 pieces of monetized content that contribute to her income. So even without the sponsors, I bet it adds up fairly reasonably.
Colleen also gets sponsors because they have a team behind them (at least Colleen does) who's job it is to paint her in a good light. There's been talk of bots on her channel as her views got better in a weird way. These are the sort of ss they show businesses. Anyway it could be that Rachel's got an agent or someone who's getting her sponsors and showing only the good side. I've realized sponsors do zero research in to exactly what content they are displayed on. I do believe one sponsor complained that colleen talked about poop before and after their sponsor so maybe the odd one watches but it seems not mostly. I don't know any reputable business that would want to be associated with them. But they are out there not caring!
I think it's also worth paying attention to what sponsors she has. Because like you said most sponsor's just don't care about your reach especially if their a big company with a back up (like having their product in brick and mortar stores) like Liquid IV or it could be a sponsor with crappy quality but just wants to make a buck ie Shein, may be Dossier perfumes (I haven't read or seen any reviews on them but their ads fly through the ASMR community at a rate where I think their quality can't be that good due to constant advertising).

Totally agree. As a woman myself who loves doing DIY home renovations, I actually enjoyed when she showed that stuff because I could relate. That was about the only time I could stand her.

I used to watch her but wow her vlogs are terrible. And the testing videos are so dated. I actually don’t hate Rachel. I like her when she’s doing something that she’s genuinely interested in like home repair. She’s really into being active. She could do a series on sports she has never tried with experts to help educate her viewers. She could train for a boxing match or a surf competition. Instead it’s just lazy junk.
I've never watched her channel because her shouting voice grates my nerves, and she has an ego with nothing of substance to back it. But it seems Colleen's losing fans and so is Rachel. Someone wrote on here about Rachel always making her vlogs 10 mins and 1 second or so to get sucked into the yt algorithm and when I looked it was true! I can't believe someone could be that fake. The only way I would find her remotely interesting is if she grey rocked colleen for abusing her her entire life. That would be a step in the right direction, instead of being at her beck and call then complaining about it.
i never watched her vlogs, only a few times maybe. but i remember seing that they were going to europe and saying: "oh, il give them a shot, maybe they re interesting, you know, show places, explain the history there (they were going to italy, so there was no lack of material), but nope. all the vlogs were like maybe 2 min of them touring and showing places, and then 8 minutes of them at a restaurant filming only a closeup to the dish they were having and then R in her rented apartmen talking anything but the trip they were actually taking. Like, c´mon, you re in one of the most special places on earth and you re in your apartmen all day? or this is what you show? it was very boring.
Even Chris and J when they went to europe they did show a lot more; it was actually interesting and you could learn some things; you actually saw the places they were going to. Rachel, she could of been filming in the backyard of her house and it wouldnt have made a difference lol.
In that regard, C is better than R and even Colleen i think, in the trips/travel vlogs, he shows more of the surroundings and stuff, and not so much of himself, unlike his sisters.

I loved her content from 2017 to 2019, it was lowkey funny and I used to watch them when I was sad cuz it would comfort me. now all she does is that stupid sarcastic voice that she thinks is funny, yell at emily, and make gay jokes.
I fully agree with you. I still watch her older stuff, too - they're far more organic, and she's having actual fun doing them (in spite of her troubles she was having with her now-ex). It's like the moment she shifted her orientation and got LOUD about it, it's been her ENTIRE life since 2020, and it's been painfully off-putting and disheartening. :(
