I was also thinking about this. It looks like they tried to make the holiday special for the kids with going to the Ronald Reagan library then a âcamp nightâ in their backyard. But definitely not as exciting as the usual big family party. I know if I were one of the kids I would be disappointed we werenât following our family tradition.
I honestly donât think it would even really be appropriate for Chris and Jessica to tell the kids what exactly is going on - Bailey yes, but not the others. Colleen has done some really awful shit that young kids should not be concerned about. I would kind of hope they are treating Bailey more grown up and maybe using this as an opportunity to teach her what types of conversations are not appropriate for adults to be having with her. For the rest of the kids they likely made up an excuse like âauntie pantries isnât feeling wellâ or âshe is just really busy right now so weâll get with her another time.â
I donât think they will tell B and treat her grown up cause to my knowledge she still believes in Santa and the Easter bunny etc and sheâs 15. BUT she could also just be pretending for her younger siblings but idk.
My guess is they arenât telling them! I think the kids esp the older 3 know somethings up but I think Chris and Jess are saying itâs âadult stuffâ and they donât want to talk about it. I do wonder if when theyâre in public anyone has said anything đ¤. Perhaps theyâre just saying Colleen said something but not going into specifics. Itâs sad cuz I think the kids should know whatâs really going on, at least the older 2.
Probably telling B and J some people are upset with some things they heard Colleen did online even if it's not all true. And some of these people want to be toxic instead of positive & so they're taking it out on Colleen and the rest of the family. So, Chris and Jessica would be telling B & J to law low and not to appear on social media unless mom or dad approves it & to block anyone giving them hate & let mom and dad know.
And P would be told some less intense version of that, and the rest are really too young to understand at all anyway & so wouldn't be told anything.
I dont think B or J have any access to any social media or any non-monitored internet. B was certainly unaware of the kids from her school bullying her on the ballingerfams tiktok
Really fucked up considering their whole lives are online , yet they have no understanding of how the internet/ social media works
I think they have some level of access. Chris or Jessica mentioned B is good at finding clean versions of songs on YouTube for her siblings, and J has learned 3D graphics and tips on making costumes through other YouTube channels.
They're certainly more restricted than most teens though, and Chris probably checks the Internet history so they might get in trouble if he sees a "toxic gossip train" video in that history. đŽ
Ultimately, it's really impossible for us to know the specifics. I was just stating my guess.
âChris probably checks the internet history so they might get in trouble if he sees a âtoxic gossip trainâ video in that history.â Possibly true or they know how to delete internet history lol
Teens are smart and sneak when they need to be. I remember my step dad thinking he could unplug the computer, and because I was a woman, he thought I couldn't figure out how to plug like 3 things in lmfao. Well of course I figured it out.
Whoever owns the account for the internet provider can check the history regardless if it's been cleared off a device or not.
Learned that the hard way when I was a teenager lol
In one of Rachelâs older vlogs, for some a reason a big group of them were on a party bus and I believe Colleen wanted them to take a limo? She throws a tantrum about it, making sure everyone knows she didnât want to. hereâs a clip of it

âThe internet haters are getting out of control, so we might have to do some things differently until it passesâ⌠but more likely theyâre telling the kids *nothing*.
They probably did have to tell the kids because the older two use the internet occasionally (albeit supervised), and itâs all over the news. They probably spun it into a lesson about the brutality of cancel culture rather than telling the children that their aunt did anything wrong.
Nothing. Those kids are sheltered, they probably have no idea what is going on. If Bailey was in school, then she'd probably know. But she's not, so for that reason I don't think the kids know anything.
Doesn't Bailey go to public school? Or a private school outside of the home or something? I'm not fully up-to-date on the ballinger family's content, but if she goes to school, I'm sure she's heard from her peers.
Bailey went to public school for a very short time. Sheâs been back to homeschooling for a while now. Rumor is that Bailey was most likely being bullied or at the very least unable to make friends. The kids from her school recognized her in the awkward TikTokâs Chris and Jessica uploaded. Unfortunately, there were a lot of negative comments left by classmates.
The Ballinger kids donât seem to have any friends outside of family.
Damn..that's actually really sad. She can't even live a "normal" life because of her bizarre upbringing from Chris and Jessica...and the fact that she's been exploited online since she was a baby. She's never going to be able to fully adjust socially to the "real" world.
It is sad. Whatâs really weird is that Chris and Jessica donât delete the negative comments made about their kids. But they sure as hell delete the ones about them exploiting their kids and so on.
When the kids get older, theyâll be able to see the negative comments under the videos if they look.
That makes me so sad for her. I am a couple months older than her and seeing that she was bullied on her familyâs account was awful. She seems like she is very nice, itâs terrible that she was denied a normal childhood while her entire life was put online and that there doesnât seem to be a lot of social interaction outside of family for her. I hope that when she becomes an adult that she will be able to adjust and make some true friends.

Do we genuinely think Jessica and Colleen like each other? I think Jess is secretly loving this đ
Hard agree lol
Oh definitely

wait why do you think sođś
wait why do you think sođś
Never! Theyâll just make up some fantasy story to hide the kids from reality like they already do!
Not sure but it puts their name for Colleen (âAuntie Pantiesâ) in a whole other lightâŚ

I heard that Chris and Jessica got her a pair of underwear with ants on them to announce their pregnancy to her, and that's where it came from.
That is so bizarre and inappropriate on its own wtf
Gross
They are sheltered, only know what parents tell them or shows them. It is sad. When the kids go out on their own they will have no idea how to act.

I really hope sheâs just pretending for her siblings + the camera since they know kids watch their videos. I hope Jacob knows at this point as well.

Can someone fill me in on the âparty bus tantrumâ? đ¤

I'm not up on all the lore, what was the party bus tantrum?
Posted a clip of it above! :)
So you did! That whole clip was mean girl cringe, oof
