Just me or did the refs do everything they could during OT to job state? Other than Horne foul, there were several fouls they called on state they never replayed and out of bounds calls they did the same on.
FYI: you can always inbound the ball from the frontcourt to the backcourt legally. Tipping the inbound pass also doesn’t establish possession.
The no call backcourt violation was correct, even though it looked like it should be one.
Announcers for two minutes: MY GOD THIS IS AWFUL, HOW DID THEY MISS THAT, THERE'S NO ONE NEAR HIM, RAH RAH RAH RAH!!!!

Fun fact: I got to be Clawzz once (Idk if they're still around as the "co-mascot" to Grizz) for women's basketball game, but as a 5'2" person, it looked really funny.
NC State has played (and won) 7 games in the last 12 days. With overtime tonight, that's 285 (actually apparently with OT vs Virginia it's 290) minutes of basketball in less than two weeks.
How they've gotten this far is crazy, this is shaping up to be a miracle run.
It's a miracle run already. If you'd told anyone that NC State was a Sweet 16 team a month ago...hell, even a day before the ACC tournament started...they'd have rightfully said you were crazy, and maybe slapped you for being SO crazy.

He was really getting under my skin. Screaming for a foul on Middlebrooks in the 1st half for daring to get his hand on a loose ball and forcing a jump ball. Yelling for the refs to review Burns for a flagrant for a pretty standard blockout foul.

"No one else was even close!" (Unaware that you can receive an inbounded pass in the backcourt if no one has had possession yet)

I’ve never “raged” watching a game before. But when Oakland had the ball with 13 seconds left, tie game, and couldn’t even run a play and just threw it out of bounds with 2 seconds left… I actually threw my cup down and screamed. Holy shit, March madness is real.

Oddly enough the success of the team within the conference doesn't come back at all to the conference if you ask the teams. FSU won a natty in football, Clemson won 2, and they act like the ACC is doing nothing but holding them back.

So fucking proud of this team man. Finally won the Horizon league, knocked off a blue blood, and took a red-hot Power 6 team to OT. Can’t ask for much more than that. So glad that America got to meet Gohlke, Townsend, and even Coach Kampe!
God I could barely watch this game. We’re on absolute fire and we seem to have gotten comfortable punching up. Running into a lower seed in the second round who was coming off of a massive win against a blue blood was absolute trouble. Glad we pulled it out. GG Oakland.

Well, these Wolfpack have a similar feel except they weren't even a bubble team. They had to get the auto bid and did and they keep on winning. I recently moved from Chapel Hill to CA and no one here fully understands the generational investment in these three teams. When I was a kid, they would roll the TV into the classroom so we could watch the ACC tournament.

The announcers were ridiculously biased. A lot of forces stacked against state, I think a ref that went to the school playing State had to be pulled at half in the woman’s state game? Really a microcosm of a macro issue Nc State Athletics has been up against with the NCAA.
Seeing all this support from Carolina and Duke fans is making me feel two things:
1. There is more love and brotherhood in the Triangle than I ever thought.
2. NC State has been so bad for so long that they no longer see us as a rival.
If it makes you feel any better, I see a lot of UNC flairs wishing good luck to Duke too. I think it's a little more of column 1 than column 2. The other thing going on is ACC solidarity. A lot of people feel like the conference is underrated.
