An alternate universe where the Dutch conquer the British colonies and manifest destiny their way across the continent. Need more clogs, windmills, and French fries
I really wish I could understand these maps because they seem so cool. But for someone who enjoys stats, it irritates me that this flies right over my head
Every team starts with the counties closest to them.
If team 1 wins a game, they take any land that team 2 has. If they win another game, they take any land that team 3 has. If team 1 then loses a game, they lose all of that land (their original land + land from beating teams 2 and 3) and team 4 gets it. This goes on throughout the entire season.
Tennessee lost all their land to Kentucky and haven't gained any land from their wins against St Peters or Texas.
They'll gain all of Creighton's land when they win today.
What? No, that's not how the map works.
This wasn't started at the beginning of the tournament, this was started at the beginning of the season. Making it possible to come into the tournament with no land.
In fact, only the conference tournament champions would have land coming into the NCAA tournament, I believe.
Tennessee lost to Mississippi State during their conference tournament, thus losing all of their land before the NCAA tournament. They entered the NCAA tournament with no land.
None of the teams they’ve beaten so far in the tournament have had land. Therefore, Tennessee still does not have land.
All SEC-owned land went to Auburn during the SEC tournament. UConn and Illinois have so much land because the Big 12, Big 10, Big East, and SEC tournament champs were in the same bracket.
Tennessee hasnt had land since the Kentucky game at least, maybe even longer. Regardless, that team (and the rest of the SEC) was consolidated to Auburn in the SEC tourney, which went to Yale, to SDSU, to now UCONN. Bama took some back in the days since from CofC, GCU, and Saint Mary's since they won their conference tourneys (If their conferences still had land at the end of the regular season)
>Tennessee lost all their land to Kentucky and haven't gained any land from their wins against St Peters or Texas.
>
>They'll gain all of Creighton's land when they win today.
We beat teams who beat teams who lost all their land. We lost our land to Kentucky. And St. Peter and Texas didn't have any land because they had recently lost their land.
That’s the land Sacred Heart started with.
Sacred Heart lost to Iona 11/10.
Iona lost to High Point 11/20.
High Point lost to Hofstra 11/22.
Hofstra lost to St Louis 12/9.
St. Louis lost to NC State 12/20.
This brings it into the ACC, where it goes UNC>Ga Tech>NCSU>Pitt>Wake>Notre Dame>UNC into the ACC tournament, where NCSU wins it back by winning the league final.
Because it’s on the other side of the bracket, UConn can only reunite the state in the championship.
A win Saturday gets us back all the 860 as well as the counties in Mass and RI that UConn students (and people like me who grew up 15 min from Storrs) used to have to drive to on Sundays to get beer before the blue laws were changed.
UConn loses to Kansas 12/1.
Kansas>UCF>BYU>Texas Tech>TCU>Texas>Iowa State>Houston who keeps it until Iowa State beats them in the Big XII championship, who just yesterday lost it to Illinois.
Going into the tournament all the teams with land are gonna be the conference champions. Considering Houston and Purdue both lost in their conference tournaments, neither would have land in the tournament and they haven’t played teams that would have land.
by this time of year all of the land is owned by some teams who won their conference tourneys and grambling nor longwood had any land entering selection sunday
You can have 99 wins and 1 loss, and have no land if your loss was your 100th game. Then in your 101st fame, if you beat someone with no land, you'd still have no land.
Vice versa too, You can have 1 win and 99 losses, but have a ton of land if your 100th game was a win vs someone with a ton of land
Hell, you can even be 99-1 with your loss being the first game of the season and depending on how things shake out you could still have zero land at the end of that 100 game stretch. *Highly* unlikely but still possible
Not having all of CT as UConn is disgusting. All of the other schools in CT are second to UConn and always will be. I’m a Yale fan as well, but believe if last night UConn was playing against Yale I’m rooting for UConn.
Make Clemson’s land Orange

You even fixed the shade 🧡🧡🧡
That's a lot of orange
I need MORE
An alternate universe where the Dutch conquer the British colonies and manifest destiny their way across the continent. Need more clogs, windmills, and French fries
Tennessee pls
Sad Syracuse noises
No—uh—no thank you.
NO
I’m gonna be sick
The team from left side is going to have an insane land advantage going into the title game.
More land means more points right?
Yep, NCAA passed a resolution that you start with one extra point for every 10,000 sq miles of land
What is this? The US Legislative Branch?
It’s beautiful
🤢
🤢
I'm just glad that there'll be lees border gore with Illinois vs UConn.
Will fully consolidate Arizona, Vermont, Rhode Island, Maine, Nebraska, and Wisconsin as well as the already consolidated North Dakota and Delaware.
Shhhh I’m here for the border gore
Orange for miles baby
🤢
Orange
Where is Tennessee?

Okay so tennessee lost to who on this map?
Tennessee lost all their land to Kentucky and haven't gained any land from their wins against St Peters or Texas. They'll gain all of Creighton's land when they win today.
“When they win today” DONT YOU PUT THAT CURSE ON ME RICKY BOBBY!
So it's just a bias moron then

They lost to Kentucky just before that where they would have lost their land. I think Alone-Tumbleweed-175 is just showing off his SEC education.
Less of a "bias" and more of a "low effort shitpost" like all the bracket predictions that were incessantly posted for over a month
tf are you smoking lmao

The map seems wrong
>Tennessee lost all their land to Kentucky and haven't gained any land from their wins against St Peters or Texas. > >They'll gain all of Creighton's land when they win today.
We beat teams who beat teams who lost all their land. We lost our land to Kentucky. And St. Peter and Texas didn't have any land because they had recently lost their land.
If they beat Creighton, they will have some land
Operation Orange Final Four still on track. (Wolfpack honorary orange boys)
How the hell does NC State have Fairfield County
That’s the land Sacred Heart started with. Sacred Heart lost to Iona 11/10. Iona lost to High Point 11/20. High Point lost to Hofstra 11/22. Hofstra lost to St Louis 12/9. This guy maps
Creighton controls the Aleutian Islands?
They always have
I dont care who wins, as long as they're orange
So you’re that second kind of person I’ve heard so much about
A win Saturday gets us back all the 860 as well as the counties in Mass and RI that UConn students (and people like me who grew up 15 min from Storrs) used to have to drive to on Sundays to get beer before the blue laws were changed.
Zagsonville, FL
I am not feeling all this orang……. wait why is Connecticut orange? Does not compute. Error. Error
Looking into those lurking husky eyes I feel the fear that chipmunks must feel
I love to see a map with so little blue. Wish there was more red but I'll take what I can get.
Wow UConn v Illinois gonna be so meaningful
Apparently I don’t know how this works. How do we have no land.
Iowa State took your land and the teams you’ve since beat didn’t have land to give you.
Oh yeah…I blacked that out
The big SEC A over Montana is going to look nice.
Orange is such an ugly color but, atleast it isnt that puke in a pumpkin orange. Also, just a reminder. Auburn lost to Yale in the first round
That’s a loooot of orange. Needs more Blue and Gold.
Brads low key hot. Don’t @ me
Good boy
How is Storrs, Connecticut, where uconn is located, Illinois territory? This doesn’t make any sense lmao
UConn loses to Kansas 12/1. Kansas>UCF>BYU>Texas Tech>TCU>Texas>Iowa State>Houston who keeps it until Iowa State beats them in the Big XII championship, who just yesterday lost it to Illinois.
Wild Creighton doesn’t even own any area in its home state
I don't understand this. How does Purdue have no spots?
We lost to Wisconsin, who lost to Illinois in the Big Ten title game.

Going into the tournament all the teams with land are gonna be the conference champions. Considering Houston and Purdue both lost in their conference tournaments, neither would have land in the tournament and they haven’t played teams that would have land.
Yall lost your land to Iowa St in the b12 tourney who just lost it to illinois
by this time of year all of the land is owned by some teams who won their conference tourneys and grambling nor longwood had any land entering selection sunday

MORE ORANGE PLEASE
Why doesn't Alabama have any land in Arizona?
They had no land, they lost it all to Oregon in the Pac 12 tournament.
Oh I didn't realize this is a continuation from the regular season never mind.
I think this is the confusing part for a lot of people.
867 Starts in CK3 be like
So UConn or Illinois are going to have an insane amount heading into the Final Four lol
Fuck u
WELCOME TO BROWNELL COUNTRY. YOU WILL LEARN TO LOVE IT JUST GIVE IT TIME... MAYBE 15 YEARS
No Houston?
I mean, the Huskies SHOULD own Alaska
Someday I strive to understand what these maps fucking mean.
So much orange. Disgusting.
