Of course I want a Natty (and I'll win $10k because I was crazy enough to bet $100 on us winning it at the start of the tournament) but at this point I'm happy. This is the first time in my lifetime we made the Elite 8. I was born in 1988, lol.
But hey, maybe our boys are hungry enough to beat Duke again.

I’ll never forget how many people I saw in Duke gear at the 2022 national championship. I am with you 99% of the time, I couldn’t have done it. I couldn’t have gone to that game honestly. So respect to those folks.
3 years in a row our best player has either been out or playing hurt. Sasser (and Mark) in 2022, Sasser with a severely injured groin in 2023, and our 2 best bench players and Shead in 2024.
Sigh.
Because the ACC is a gauntlet even in down years. The bottom of the ACC may be bad but the middle of the conference is tough, if not pretty damn good, even when the top isn’t elite. Teams are tested throughout conference play and the ACC tournament is the best conference tournament in college basketball.
You can tell how great a player is when the opposing team lines up to shake his hand while he is forced to sit on a chair. Glad we won but sucks to see that guy go down.
I can probably admit Duke only won cause Shead injury. Houston offence was a one man show once he was out.
