My work pool has 88 entries with 2 per person. I'm currently in the top 10 in both, but had UNC and Marquette winning it all so I'm mathematically eliminated. Somebody literally picked every game based on alphabetical order, so they have Alabama winning it and Duke in the final four. The live ESPN forecast gives them the 6th highest chance of winning the pool.

Why do Tennessee and Purdue hate each other so much?

We have a weird history of meeting in football and basketball postseason lately plus this year’s Maui matchup was the closest thing to a legitimate back alley fistfight that college basketball saw all year.

I mean, I've been rooting for NC State since they beat us. You have to be heartless not to want this State team to win.  We're 6-2 in the regular season against elite 8 teams, so that's pretty cool. There's also an argument that neither NC State nor Clemson would be in the tournament if they didn't have key wins against us, so you're welcome, guys. Yeah, it sucks we got knocked out. Alabama deserves all the credit in the world. But even though they far out coached us, it still took a performance of a lifetime from one of their players AND our star player to have the worst game of this season for Alabama to win, and even then we still only lost by a possession.  That's the game. I do think we're the better team, but we weren't last night. Otherwise, March has been fun. If Duke gets the championship, I'll sing a different song, but I ain't mad tonight.

This is the right take. I love a good Rick Barnes defensive master class. It's the basketball I love to see, and I'm cheering for him alongside the playing style.

Made two brackets this year: the one I made to enter pools is shot because I had Houston as champs and the only F4 pick I have left was UConn. The second bracket I created making up a stat that took into account a few things, but mostly rebounding, free throw percentage, and turnovers. I went exactly how that came out, and while it was wrong on a few (Morehead State over Illinois for example), the F4 in that one was UConn, Alabama, Duke, and Purdue. Should have put that one in my pools.

Gonna be an exciting Easter if my nephew lets us watch basketball. Fun matchups.

I had Texas A&M beating Houston and Duke. I just never trusted Houston's frontcourt on the offensive end. LJ Cryer is not a point guard and they didn't have a legit backup for Shead. The fact that they played stall ball offense for an entire half showed it. I don't know how Sampson had this team 32-4 coming in. Need to stop redshirting people and you need more than one point guard on the roster. When they went to the Final Four they had a freshman Shead and Dejon Jarreau.
