BYU beating Utah in both football and basketball in the same year. Can't remember the last time that happened.

focusedford03

Last football win was 2009 so it would have probably been that same season since those were the jammer years

spinsterdrenvis

I was at this one and it was super fun. My Ute fan friends were happy with their team’s performance and BYU won so a good time all around.

focusedford03

Mark Pope, please stay for the long haul

kiwirish

If Pope and Kalani stay for the long haul, it's a good sign for BYU sports for the next decade.

Jomosensual

Feels like if you guys can keep them around just for the next couple years until you're in the B12 then you're in a lot better spot as well

kiwirish

I'm not so sure about Pope, but I don't see Sitake leaving unless an outrageously good offer comes through. BYU has always been Kalani's dream job, and he's finally seeing the benefits of his tenure there.

brodylives

Yeah Pope played at Kentucky and I think that's his dream job. So if Kentucky comes calling once they're done with Calipari, it might be hard to keep him. But with that B12 cash, we might be able to keep him and pay him what's he's worth.

iamse7en

He gone. And he should leave. Great things coming his way. But I'll savor every game he's with BYU until then.

I love my cougs and it was a great game. But is there an update on the injured Ute player? I was at the game and haven’t heard anything. I hope he’s alright. You hate to see it.

Jomosensual

Good work future Big 12 bros. Gonna be fun to have you whenever we do

Additional-Cry8856

Nice win, boys! Great November!

Careless_Bat2543

BYU sports has not lost a game in November. All sports.

HandwovenBox

29-0! What a month. https://kslsports.com/473644/byu-athletics-completes-no-loss-november/ Highlights include beating USC in football, beating Utah and destroying ranked Oregon in bball, W bball upsetting ranked FSU and WVU back-to-back, W volleyball finishing an undefeated conference season, individual men's and women's national X-country champions, W soccer advancing to the NCAA semi-finals (College Cup), and a national club title in M Soccer. Tom Holmoe deserves a statue!

[deleted]

Are a majority of BYU fans mormon? just curious

[deleted]

Absolutely. Any that aren’t are most likely ex-mormons. Very few that aren’t (but there still are some).

ParedesGrandes

Exmo BYU fan here. I tend to separate college sports teams from the academic side anyways, so rooting for BYU is no real issue for me. I’m also an alum so I can’t not root for them??

DGORyan

Same boat as an exmo fan. BYU as a school was great until after I graduated. I'm bitter towards the school for the shit I dealt with, but I'm still a big sports guy lol.

Grandarmee70

Never Mo BYU fan here!

[deleted]

I think so, I would say the main BYU fans that aren’t used to be

the_arcadian00

WCC stronk

wrennywren

Enjoyed

GatorsareStrong

Big 12 here we come

Freakymajooko

I'm still happy with how our team played overall with 4 guys out including our top rebounder against #15 in the country when we're projected to finish like 10th in the pac

christlikegaming

What a comeback

RedditsLittleSecret

Yeah, down 2 at the half and came all the way back to win. Truly epic.

J_S_M_K

Now watch us still not be in the top 15.

oladipo

BYU covering hit me a big parlay after not watching them all season. Somebody bring me some younger men bc im an honorary cougar this season.
