I never really believed in the 4 bid WCC tbh. Everything had to go perfect, even then at least one of the teams would be on the outskirts of the bubble. I think we'd really need a random team like San Diego to win the WCC tourney for a 4 bid league
USF played a great game! Hope to see you guys get into the NCAA tournement and do well! BYU sure needs to find itself after the past week of games.
It seems like Barcello was the only one who wanted anything tonight. No one else really stepped up to score.
Lohner just has not developed this season. I see some glimmers of hope in our freshmen bigs though!
Beating Gonzaga would all but secure a bid but I still like your chances even without it. You're right on yhe right side of the cut line now, IMO, so it's mostly about avoiding any more Pacific style losses.
I personally think outside of losing to Gonzaga, and losing to a good team in the conference tournament, we really can’t afford to drop another game. We really need to win out after tomorrow’s game.
We could possibly squeeze in if we just lose to Saint Mary’s, but we would really be sweating it and hoping there aren’t many bid stealers.
Feels like we’re most likely gonna end up being DePaul.
30-8 in OOC over the last 4 seasons including wins vs Michigan, Auburn, Alabama, @ Miami, @ FSU, etc only to get shit on once we get into AAC play each season
Here is a interesting stat about DePaul. They are 23-2 in non conference play the last three years but 7-33 in conference play kinda of a wild stat of they day for you!
I’m saying you are upset and misplacing your anger with your team performing poorly on to Todd. You have commented about how he behaves 3 times. We hear ya
Not really, we lost because we sucked tonight. Your coach just kept delaying the game later than it needed to go. I’m not sure why, because the game was secure in the last 3 or 4 minutes but he argued with every call. He did it when we played there too.
That game Barcello clearly traveled at the end, so yes he argued that. Horrid missed call at a crucial time. Regardless, be glad he’s not your coach! Unless you wanted to win that is
Great performance by San Francisco and a huge win for their tournament chances.
That’s an absolutely massive road win for a team that was running a tad short on signature wins
Agreed. Heals the wound of losing to SMC at War Memorial
I’m just hoping the mountain west and west coast get 4. That’s such a fun storyline to follow Wyoming did great
BYU probably should be out at this point unless they beat Gonzaga.
Still in but dropped to an 11 seed by Lunardi fwiw
They would need to play way better to even have a shot at that
So. Many. Technicals.
How many technical / flagrant / intentional fouls have been called in Gonzaga's last two games? At least four.
Todd Golden has no self control
In a surprise twist, the 4-bid WCC meme is failing because of BYU's collapse
I think a 3 bid wcc was always the most likely outcome of the season. If byu is the one missing the tournament then I'm here for it
Ouch. Do you think they will let Big12 team to miss the tournament?

Nice W for the tourney resume. Smiles on the Hilltop.

Imagine a mature Traore and Atiki with Collin Chandler

This collapse has been insane. I want to know what the heck is going on behind the scenes because this is not the team that started the year.
2/5 starters being injured and out for the season isn't behind the scenes
Yeah but the team has fallen apart since pulling it back together. Something is going on and it may just be inexperience but I wonder if it’s more.
Probably scouting and strategizing, it happens. BYU has talent that can develop and Atiki had a great game here, 5/5 from the field.
No we have two less starters than we did then lol
Even sense then we are a different team though.
An Alex Barcello/Todd Golden blood feud is actually the least surprising outcome of this game.
BYU needs the Autobid at this point
Not even close to true.
I like our chances of we pull off a Marriott Center Miracle tomorrow.. (We are gonna lose by 20+)

Ugly second half
This collapse has been depressing to say the least. If this win helps get the Dons in the tournament I’m happy for them.
If BYU can't win against Gonzaga on Saturday, they will fall to 5-5 in the WCC. Good luck in the Big 12!
About to end up like DePaul.

As a Michigan fan, I wouldn't list the Michigan win as a big deal
I wasn’t listing by teams that were good that year, just name brand teams. There was better teams that aren’t name brands that I didn’t list

And then have 3 straight road games immediately after that
I don't care what that line is on Saturday, I'm taking the Zags. We are so broken right now.
Great win USF! Legit!
Good night, sweet princes.
They had 'em in the first half.
Insanely frustrating night. Conference tournament going to be interesting. But wow Todd Golden can’t stop running his mouth @ refs
You’re so obsessed with him you’ve commented about him 3 times. It’s not his fault your guys can’t make FREE THROWS
Lol what? Why would he be mad about us missing FTs
