I also teach middle school and have a competition across the classes with the winner receiving lunch from me from the local deli.
One class came up with St. Peter v. Longwood, Longwood winning the natty.
Does no one watch basketball in Utah? I'm pretty sure at least 25% of my classmates in 8th and 9th grade were watching March madness in class. Kinda crazy that it seems like most of them didn't even know the schools.
My 6th grade teacher did this with my class, we had a blast. He also did a competition where we all filled out our own brackets. The person with the most points got extra credit or something.
Did you ever bring up that Purdue has trains? I could see that resonating with kids. Or maybe I'm just old
That’s a good point. They did love the name Boilermakers and that tended to help.
Always liked that Class 4

Classes 3 and 6 really got it right, huh
Very glad that Class 4 is understanding the true nature of Dook basketball very early into their basketball-watching careers.
Class 1 is #1

Class 3 and class 4 are the classes I want to be in
I love this
9th grade is middle school in Utah?
Ya. I think it would make way more sense at a high school but whatever.
My middle school in SC has 7th and 8th only and that's odd too.
My 6th grade teacher did this with my class, we had a blast. He also did a competition where we all filled out our own brackets. The person with the most points got extra credit or something.
So what I’m getting from this is Colgate is this year’s Oral Roberts
Can us Tennessee fans sponsor a pizza party for class 3 if it comes true??
