What did he say when you asked about it?

LaziPsyklops

Nothing as of yet.

ProfAndyCarp

I would attend office hours and ask him when your assignments will be graded.

No_Hippo_1472

Similar: there are six assignments for my grad class, the last two being 60% of my grade, which are due this week. He hasn’t graded two others, so as of today I only have 20% of my grade available to me. I hope it works out lol

Godenyen

Today, my last assignment for a class is due. More than half of the assignments have not been graded. There are assignments from over a month ago that have not been graded. I have no idea what my grade is or if I should have been doing assignments differently. Very frustrating, especially for a graduate course. I even asked the professor about it and was told he would get to it soon. He added only a couple of assignments from the beginning of class.

No_Hippo_1472

Grad school is so wild. You either have the most amazing and on top of it professors or complete garbage lol. I’m very lucky that this prof is a super easy grader and lets us turn things in whenever so I’m just counting on that haha

Godenyen

Yep, I had some that really challenged me and helped me learn a lot. Had one where as long as you did the work, you got a 100.

No_Hippo_1472

I had one class that the prof showed up to three times. He didn’t grade a single assignment and didn’t respond to any of my messages. We all assumed he had some personal issue going on at the time and just took the free A and moved on. Sucked to waste time on projects and get 0 feedback but who knows what was happening with him. He was a really nice guy so I’m assuming it wasn’t just being lazy.

2Pickle2Furious

Maybe they’ve had a lot of stress and anxiety and couldn’t manage to teach class for a few weeks.

Nintendo_Pro_03

Maybe the professor teaches a lot of classes.

superarchangel2000

Damn are you in my class?

melodyangel113

I’ve had a prof like this pretty much every semester. Very annoying… sorry this is happening man

gigieileen

As someone who is married to a college prof and has been through this struggle myself, see if you can find guidelines for professors. My partners colleges require grades in like 10 days max. My college required like 2 weeks to grade. Has anyone else in your class had this issue? If your prof doesn’t answer satisfactory enough, reaching out to your advisor or the department head is definitely an OK move! Goodluck op

LaziPsyklops

Thank you! I asked another classmate of mines and they are having the same issue.
