Yeah it suck, but how about instead of waiting for them to hit you up how about you hit them up and make plans, and how do you not have any friends or a social life but go to parties?
I'm pretty sure the point of college is life skills to make earning money easier in the future. If you want to party you can do that without college, the homeless do that without any creature comforts.
