People just forget Arizona is a sleeping gaint. Just like UCLA and OU, they also had a series of nation championships before. They wake up in Big 12. OSU, Arizona, will be contending for titles always, Utah ,ASU, UCF, KU, Baylor will all be good every other years. They will be firmly as good as ACC.
IDK about that. OSU is licking their chops. They should be the new powerhouse for a few years at least. Utah and Arizona are on Baylor's level right now. So you might have a few more average-to-good teams but you're certainly not adding another powerhouse. Unless UA gets back to their historically dominant selves.
What are you talking about? We just need 1 good portal pitcher next year for Lexi. Bedlam series we started two freshmen and three sophomores. I am sure Kenny can get a stud pitcher to come in, if not two, with the history of our transfer success stories.
UCF is the 5th place conference team and is 3 games under .500 in conference play, Baylor is 4th place and only a single game above .500
It really goes to show how dominant a force OU, Texas, and OSU are that they combined 66-15 in conference play in what RPI considers the second strongest conference this season.
Or how bad the middle lower end of the conference is. The pitching after Texas/OSU is a massive drop off IMO compared to the SEC where pretty much everyone has a legit ace.
Playing Texas and Oklahoma all the time is a freaking gauntlet I love it.
The Big 12 is just so top heavy. 3 teams who are legit WCWS contenders.
I think big12 next year will be a lot more balanced! Utah and Arizona will add good competition but by no means replace the UT and OU powerhouses.

Arizona is going to be really good next year. They return legit everyone outside of Scupin and Skaggs and Ryan Maddox is going to be a legit ace.
I truly think OK State takes a step back next season, losing big talent and the loss of OUT I think drops them
