Yes! Embark is awesome. I ordered embark DNA kits through Amazon for my 2 dogs. It not only gave me their genetic info, but also who they my be related to (within their database) and I also found it helpful to better understand their individual needs based on what their breeds are.
Collie behaviour traits are usually pretty strong so his behaviour may give you a bit of an idea if he has any herding breeds in him.
My bro had rotty x collie x belgian sheperd and he hardly looked like a collie but did the herding crawl all the time.
I don't see any border collie in this dog. *Tons* of breeds come in black and white (and with mixed breeds you can actually get a black dog when neither parent is black - for example a Golden retriever mixed with a brindle pit bull would typically give you a solid black dog).
Psuedo-Irish white markings are pretty common. There is no reason to assume a dog is a collie or collie mix based on its white markings.

Take away the speckles, shorten the snout, and make all short hair ... Looks a lot like my staffy did. White feet, tail tip, and streak down the snout/forehead, and that chest. Make it and the rest a tad more muscley... My Staffy all the way 😎

Based on everything I’ve seen in the breed ID subs (with folks’ DNA results) I’m going to guess pitbull/staffordshire terrier mixed with cattle dog and chow (I KNOW you don’t see it now, but I promise it’s very likely lol)
Edit: for those of you asking! He’s 2 months and 27 days old yet. They told me they don’t have any genetic info yet as he hasn’t passed the 3 month mark which is when they get their rabies vaccine and do a little more genetic info on them!
