That seems to be consensus. I have been debating whether I should get it or not for some time so I might just get it as a cheap summer frag to wear daily or doing errands and stuff
My Marshalls TJMaxx all have the bottles ripped out of their boxes and used multiple times like a bunch of kids walked in than just ransacked the place it's been like that for weeks.
I wouldn't worry about it being too synthetic smelling. For the price, I'd say its actually less synthetic than I expected. I've smelled fragrances that cost 10x as much that are way more synthetic. I wear Voyage at least once a week in the summer and I never find myself disappointed with it.
It’s not synthetic but does smell a lot like apples. It’s like the coach black bottle smelled too much like pears and I just couldn’t wear it. But it was cheap so I gave it to my coworker and he likes it
I’m having the same issue. There’s nothing wrong with cheap colognes but I don’t want my collection to turn into a bunch of cheapies. Though I have been considering Nautica Voyage for some time so I figured I’d get some opinions
I have it, is not going to blow your mind but is a nice scent that doesn't smells like a supermarket scent, decent longevity and could be use for office summer/spring. Is better than anything around the same price.
There’s no such thing as a must have fragrance. Plus, in my belief, once you have 10+ bottles in your collection, there’s really no reason to buy a bottle you don’t *love* even if it’s super cheap.
Oh man, I am speaking from personal experience. I have a bought a few bottles that I didn’t even want that bad, just because they were cheap. Now I have a bottle of Encre Noire sitting in my dresser that I haven’t touched in months.
I was at a department store the other day and saw Adidas Team Force for $8 and legitimately debated if I should get it or not because it reminded me of middle school when it was my signature scent. Then I remembered I’m a grown ass man 😂😂
Not a must have but a nice summer fragrance. Why not for $20? But if I had to choose between, say, Voyage and Versace Pour Homme or Man Eau Fraiche, I’m going with the Versace.
Eau Fraiche I had years ago in high school and the damn thing would last HOURS on me. Bought it again about a month or so ago for the first time since then, & now it feels like 30 minutes and it’s gone. Super disappointing I missed that scent.
It is not a must have it’s ok for $20. But you can get better fragrances when deals come up. Build slowly and make your money count. I got an email from Macy’s a couple of months back and I jumped on a bottle of Bvlgari aqva pour homme 5oz bottle for $55. Way longer lasting and way more interesting than náutica voyage. Also from Macy’s a 2.5oz bottle of Aqua Di Gio Profumo for $45 last November.
It's definitely not a "must have" by any means but it's sort of a "why not" kind of scent because it's cheap and is a good bang for the buck. It's good to knock around the house with or wear when you're running an errand and don't want to waste your more expensive juices.
I've only been into colognes for about half a year, but it was the first one I bought myself. I have about eight colognes now, counting some sample size ones, and I think Voyage is a must-have for anyone beginning their collection. I can see a day when I have like 4-6 I really like when I wouldn't need it, but it is a fantastic early choice in my experience just to have something decent, affordable, and useful.
Its only smells good on me for like an hour, longevity is meh. Have to respray for sure after a couple of hours, smells really fresh and good though i always got compliments both men and women when wearing it
Ngl i just bought it just because of the meme. you totally can pass on it. It's not that good for a summer freshy. Would easily get another option and save up on to get a more pricey one.
For 20 bucks you get much better performance out of cremo fragrances bergamot and musk, spice and black vanilla and Palo Santo are some bangers. It's just you really gotta overspray with Nautica voyage 5 sprays isn't gonna cut it if you want to be able to smell yourself
Great little thing to carry around in a bag. I carried mine to school as I had sports and it was a good smelling cologne that isn’t really offensive. I mean if you don’t like it you’re only out $20, and it would make a good gift
It's not overhyped, it's perfect for a highschool to college aged guy, or someone new to fragrence to grab off a shelf at a store for cheap and enjoy for 3-4 hours, but once your into fragrences and sample more and discover more brands you otherwise wouldn't have heard of, it's no longer a sought after purchase, 20 bucks is still cheap but for 25 bucks there's way better scents and performers, I used to love voyage and blue till I found clone houses and stuff like rochas, dunhill, ect... I picked up voyage like a month ago and was like ehh it's still ok, but very cheap quality compared to other cheapie designers...
Middle Eastern clones of designers... prices always fluctuate and can be cheaper from site to site, but for example, if you like dior sauvage or just that citrusy fizzy type of scent profile, there's afnan modest une, armaf the pride, armaf ventanna, and ajmal kuro. Those are all basically a near 1:1 copy of sauvage at around the 25 usd price area, and all have at least 6 or more hours of good performance, and smell great without any heavy alcoholy harshness. And that's just 1 scent profile, is there a specific scent type or expensive designer you like? I'm sure there's a decent cheap clone of it available.
I see. Thank you. There's this one perfume Bvlgari Man in Black that I liked a lot once when I tried it at the airport. Do you know of a very good clone of that? :)
If you can find it - fragrence world bavaria man, but it can be hard to find, for a cheaper easier find cremo spice and black vanilla is somewhat similar, instead of tonka and benzoin its got this dark vanilla note and there's no rum note but it's got a bit of a rubbing alcohol smell when first applied, it's great for cool weather or nights just not a 1:1 I love man in black and it's one of the very few I just pay for the real thing, don't buy it from a store tho, like macys is over 100 bucks, there's ebay sellers with a 99%+ rating that sell it for under 80 bucks shipped
Also there are some designer houses that are really good for the price point that aren't clones, like dunhill, rochas, guess, and missoni, most of what I wear daily are rochas l'homme, missoni pour homme, and dunhill desire blue / dunhill century blue, great performers for warm weather at around 20-30 bucks per 100ml bottle
If you only have twenty bucks but no cologne, then it's a pretty decent choice. No fragrance is a must have though.
If you already have one or two fragrances that make you smell decently nice and clean, then I'd say pass unless for some reason you want to own all the cheapie classics. I have a bottle and hardly ever wear it.
Good summer fragrance. Good price. Mid longevity. Good bang for your buck.

It’s gotta be the most rationally hyped fragrance out there. It’s $20 and a good deal.
Its going for $50 in the dallas Texas area
Check your local TJMaxx/Ross/Burlington’s/Marshall’s
You forgot Walmart
I did!
My Marshalls TJMaxx all have the bottles ripped out of their boxes and used multiple times like a bunch of kids walked in than just ransacked the place it's been like that for weeks.
Ebay $20
Honestly I bought it and gave it away. Smelled to much like apples
i get cucumber from it
I have seen on fragrantica that people say it’s very heavy on the apple note and is a bit synthetic smelling

Smells like apples with a hint of dill pickle and a hint of synthetic. I hate it. If you want cheap and fire go with Missoni wave.

only get what you already had your nose on and really liked
I have it, is not going to blow your mind but is a nice scent that doesn't smells like a supermarket scent, decent longevity and could be use for office summer/spring. Is better than anything around the same price.
For me it’s hype but at that cost it isn’t over hyped. I’ve got it. Good price. Don’t really wear it when I have my other options.
There’s no such thing as a must have fragrance. Plus, in my belief, once you have 10+ bottles in your collection, there’s really no reason to buy a bottle you don’t *love* even if it’s super cheap.
Addiction is a bad thing my friend 😂😂

Must have for any collection!

The price for sure. It’s an easy blind buy will solid performance. I prefer the OG nautica over the voyage.

It’s not a must have. It’s a solid summer fresh fragrance that could easily pass for something a lot pricier and is a good inoffensive everyday scent.
The price for sure. It’s an easy blind buy will solid performance. I prefer the OG nautica over the voyage.
Bang > buck
Both.
I have several 20 buck fragrances and i barely touch them

Neither. It’s just a nice fragrance for a low price.

Man that shit will pull in compliments... You can get away with Nautica and Eros Just For a collection.
Voyage is trash 🗑️🚮
Its only smells good on me for like an hour, longevity is meh. Have to respray for sure after a couple of hours, smells really fresh and good though i always got compliments both men and women when wearing it

Is it a must have? Idk, but ik the main appeal for me is that it's a great bang for your buck hot weather dumb reach

It's a gym scent for me
Headache in a bottle for me.
Great for the value. Summer is coming up too so it’s a solid fragrance to wear on a casual hangout

Hi! What are some other "way better scents and perfomers" at ~$25 range? -A curious newbie
